Love this so much. Very handy and smoothes out wrinkles very easily. Much better than an iron in my opinion especially as I hate ironing. Also, love that I can infuse my perfume at the point of steaming making me smell lovely for much longer.

Very good product
Bought this as I I had a very old iron and thought could be a better and easy addition. Have never used one before.It is really good but not sure if it could replace the good old iron. You still need to buy additional accessories for a start ,as you need to hang the clothes somewhere to be steamed .I don't think also is that much quicker than the ironing too, bear in mind the clothes gets moist from the steam so you have to really wait for them to dry,or else they get new crinkles.The downside is that is a bit bulky, which I didn't expect, so not really suitable for travel.All in all I'm happy with it ,but I don't think it could replace the iron completely, maybe is a good addition to have.

Better than ironing
Bought this a few months ago works really well for shirts, dresses and more. A lot more efficient than ironing as you don't need to hang clothes on a board you can do it straight off a hanger. You can also infuse scents into the steamer to make your clothes smell nice. Great product would recommend.

Yes, the Steam Genie 28040 can be used without the scent infuser. The user manual for the item contains more information on how and when to use it. Some of this info is posted here.
The scent infuser attachment can be used to infuse your fabrics with your favourite scent.
The use of scents, oils, or other fragrances is at your own risk and we accept no liability. Always read any instructions, warnings or advice regarding the use of the fragrance before using it with your steamer. Always use the scent infuser in a well ventilated room.
Always remove and refit the scent infuser attachment when the steamer is cold and not producing steam.
Always have the scent infuser fitted when using the delicate fabric attachment. Remove the fabric pad if you don’t want to infuse a scent to the fabric being steamed.
Only use the scent infuser. Do not place fragrance directly onto the delicate fabric attachment, and never add fragrances to the water in the water tank.
