The 12-volt cable from the 222 can be used with the 522GW.
The rear camera from the 222 is not compatible with the 522GW.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Nextbase 522GW Dash Cam with Alexa Enabled: On a 522GW model a 32GB card will record 2hr 30 mins before looping over.

I can advise that Nextbase recommend only using their specifically designed memory cards for Nextbase dash cams. The one recommended for this is the Nextbase 32GB Go Pack - 145/7092.

Having looked into this. The Dash Cam does not detect humans when parked. It's intelligent Parking Mode is designed to record movement, such as a car bump.

The Nextbase 522GW Dash Cam does not come with a rear camera included in the standard package. However, it is compatible with the Nextbase Rear Window Camera, which can be purchased separately and connected to the 522GW to record the rear view of your journey.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Nextbase 522GW Dash Cam with Alexa Enabled: Yes, the 522GW front camera works either via the 12/24V power adapter cable, or can be hardwired into the fuse box using the Nextbase Hardwire Kit.
The Nextbase Rear Window Camera connects to the 522GW via the supplied 6.5m USB cable.
