Easy kettle
As an over 50 with a large family you can imagine I’ve gone through a lot of kettles. This is a very basic kettle which does the job. I like with jug type which can easily be opened and the 360 rotation make life easier.

Works well but could do with a larger lid opening
Bought this kettle about a month ago to replace another brand of kettle which stopped working after only 19 months and outside its 12 month guarantee. Therefore the fact that this Russell Hobbs kettle came with a 2 year guarantee, extendable to 3 years by registering it, was one of the reasons I chose it, plus it was on offer at Argos. So far it has worked fine. I like that it has a low minimum fill, so if you just need one mug of water you can boil it quickly and economically. It is quite noisy and I find the lid opening a bit small and awkward for filling, which is why I have only given 4 stars.

Our supplier has advised that the white kettle has the measurement in cups, then 1.7l as maximum volume, and the black kettle has the measurements in litres.
