Thanks for your query about the Glen Fulford 2kW Contemporary Inset Fire - Stainless Steel.
The Dimensions for the inset are as follows: 36.3cm wide, 54.cm high and 7cm depth. However the vents on the sides of the inset require some clearance. Because of this, the manufacturer recommends a fireplace cavity gap of 40cm wide to allow for this additional ventilation.
Based on the dimensions you've provided, this will fit in a gap that size and such a gap would also allow for the required ventilation too.
