Bought this to replace s 20 year old fire that conked out that worked originally with bulbs that grew hot,till LED ones came along.This model fits well into the fire surround I have. Neat size no faffing with bulbs blowing as the fire flames display is built in. Very happy either it.A good price too.

Thanks for your query about the Glen Fulford 2kW Contemporary Inset Fire - Stainless Steel.
The Dimensions for the inset are as follows: 36.3cm wide, 54.cm high and 7cm depth. However the vents on the sides of the inset require some clearance. Because of this, the manufacturer recommends a fireplace cavity gap of 40cm wide to allow for this additional ventilation.
Based on the dimensions you've provided, this will fit in a gap that size and such a gap would also allow for the required ventilation too.
