Great product
Great product. Extended my Wifi signal. Now when I am working from home my work laotop is only connected to this extender and the results are much better than before.

Excellent
A bit fiddly to set up but once set-up the results are amazing. Works best for tech that doesn't move. My computer has the best WiFi coverage ever as does my printer. Not so effective with things like mobile phones where you are moving around. I didn't realise you can pair your device with either the extender or you hub

My new laptop was unable to pick up the broadband wifi but I now have full signal from the router 2 floors down thanks to the TP- Link. Needless to say, I am very happy and relieved.

Easy setup for non tech users
Bought this for my parents house. We didn’t want something too difficult to setup and easy to move around the house. The TP Link Re450 was really easy to setup and it provides extended coverage to previously WiFi dead zones. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up
I bought this a month ago because I couldn’t get a signal from my house to my summer house (approximately 50ft from main router), but after plugging it in at the back of my conservatory I’m now getting a signal to the summer house and enjoying uninterrupted football and a glass of beer.

Hi,
The Wi-Fi range of TP-Link range extenders varies depending on environmental factors such as physical obstacles, wireless interference, and the capabilities of the wireless client. To ensure perfect performance, it is recommended that the distance between the router and the Range Extender be limited to 8 meters, and the distance between the Range Extender and the end device be approximately 8 meters.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello There.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for TP-Link RE450 AC1750 Wi-Fi Range Extender- 1 Gigabit Port.
To highlight the versatile features of your RE450 Range Extender, particularly its Ethernet port:
Access Point Mode: The RE450 supports Access Point Mode, enabling you to connect an Ethernet cable directly from your router to the extender. In this mode, the extender uses the wired connection as input and creates a new Wi-Fi network, ensuring a stable and fast connection.
Range Extender Mode with Wired Devices: Even when operating in Range Extender Mode, you can utilize the Ethernet port to connect wired devices—such as PCs or smart TVs—to the extender. This is achieved by using the extender's wireless link to the router, providing additional flexibility for your network setup.

Hello Rel,
I can advise the following for the TP-Link RE450 AC1750 Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender&Booster:
This will need to go in the midway point where the Wi-Fi is weakest. It won't connect to the Wi-Fi in the garage if the garage doesn't have any Wi-Fi to begin with.
Depending on what ring the garage is on, look at the power line adapters to allow you to use the coper wire cables that transmit the power to the garage. This would be a stronger solution in terms of signal.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi Hayley,
