The supplier has advised the following for the Boutique Faux Leather Office Chair - Grey:

"To remove the office chair starbase, you’ll need a wood or rubber hammer, a piece of wood, and a human assistant. Invert your chair and let your assistant hold down the starbase while placing the wood above the gas lift. Hit the wood with the hammer and try as much as possible to avoid hitting the gas lift. Keep doing that until the pressure on the base is released, and it comes apart."

We realised that there is a wrong way to assemble this chair. You need to have the height adjustment handle to the right of the chair, like in all the pictures. If you dont, the chair is angled incorrectly and you will slide forward

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Boutique Faux Leather Office Chair does slope slightly. Front is lower and back is slightly higher.

Hi , Mia. When you sit on your chair, try moving in a circular motion, and that should stabilise the wheels, It tends to set them in different directions which stops them from moving usually. Hope it works!
