Having slept on this Mattress for 2 weeks I find it to be a very supportive comfortable mattress . prior to this mattress i suffered from backache and struggled out of bed but after one night my backache went and 2 weeks later this mattress is my best friend. it feels good it looks good.

On recommendation from some good friends we purchased Argos Home Hybrid 2400 Pocket Kingsize Mattress, We have not fully tested it yet but a quick test felt comfortable and supportive. When our new bed arrives we will fully test and may buy a second mattress.

the mattress is a little Firmer then I expected but was still comfortable to sleep on and i expect it will soften over time, all in all not a bad mattress. small improvement would be handles to make it easier to rotate.

I’m so confused by the good reviews on this mattress and bought it based on the reviews but I was sorely (literally!) disappointed. Not only is that mattress rock solid, I mean, absolutely no give to it at all, it also started to dip within 2 weeks of having it. It’s so hard that I’m constantly waking in pain. You can feel the springs through the very poor top layer. Absolutely horrendous. Please don’t waste your money. I have contacted Argos who are collecting this mattress and refunding me. I’d much rather sleep on an air bed whilst I shop around than keep this mattress.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hybrid 2400 Pocket Single Mattress: ''The Hybrid 2400 mattress uses a combination of two springs which total nearly 20cm, the main core spring for a supportive foundation, and the top mini spring for additional 360 degree comfort. We then upholster with layers of polyester and finish with a quilted sleep surface which totals 5cm in depth.

Regarding the Argos Home Hybrid 2400 Pocket Single Mattress. The Argos Home Hybrid 2400 pocket mattress does not contain any harmful chemicals. Most products contain chemicals of some sort but Airsprung Beds take appropriate steps to ensure all the parts used to produce their mattresses are safe & clean. The yarn from which the mattress sleep surface material is made does contain fire retardant chemicals, as do the border and coloured piping. None of these chemicals are classified as hazardous under the REACH regulations however, by either the European Chemical Agency in the EU or the HSE in the UK. None of the interior parts of the mattress have any chemical treatments applied.
