This mattress does not work on an Ottoman bed. My husband and I rolled to the middle with this mattress. Would suit a more basic base bed.

I personally found this mattress to be much firmer than expected even with the plush looking pillow top, and I like a med/firm. I will be exchanging it.
Hi John according the website, catalogue number 880/1957 is the medium firm mattress, catalogue number 887/2766 is the firm mattress - whereas the one you have indicated here is described by the supplier as medium soft.
As you can see - there is a full range of mattresses that will suit a variety of personal choices. However, as all of our perceptions are individual, one mattress may feel firmer to one person and not so firm to another. The best way to do this is order the one that you feel may be correct and before using the item see for yourself.

All of our products are suitable for wooden slatted bases we just recommend that the slats measure between 7-10 cms and the gap between is no bigger than 5-7cms.
