Johnstone's Bathroom Emulsion is formulated to withstand moisture and stains, providing durable protection in areas of high condensation. This low odour formulation dries to a subtle Mid Sheen finish to create a stylish look to your room. For use on interior walls and ceilings. Product Features: Moisture resisting. Covers approx. 12m2/Ltr. Touch dry: 1-2 hours. Allow 3-4 hours between coats.

Nice grey, a lot darker than on the tin.
Purchased a week ago. A lot darker than shown on the tin. Still a nice colour. I noticed this paint had an awful smell from it. It took at least a week for the smell to go.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Johnstone's Bathroom Paint Mid Sheen 2.5L - Manhattan Grey: ''Normally there is no undercoat or primer needed for the bathroom paint above .
However, this would depend on the circumstances what condition the walls are in etc..
It would be impossible to answer without maybe some images of the walls to paint or some more information
If the walls are just bare plaster, I would suggest walls are clean dry and free from any contaminates. I advise:
*I thin down coat of the Bathroom paint followed by two undiluted coats.
*The dilution is 1 part water 9 part paint.''

The supplier has advised the following for the Johnstone's Bathroom Paint 2.5L - Manhattan Grey:
The product in question will not prevent the formation of surface mould in severe cases, it will however be mould resistant leaving a finish that will not be damaged by its presence and can be easily cleaned and maintained.
The surface needs to be suitable prepared, clean dry, sanded, and free from contamination, after which it can be applied directly to existing paint layers.

Thanks for your query about the Johnstone's Bathroom Paint 2.5L - Manhattan Grey.
This is for use in areas of high condensation. It works by providing a wipeable surface that resists moisture and stains. Whilst it would very likely be quite good at being wiped down for dirty hand prints, we cannot advise that it would be resistant to inks and so on.
Reviewers here have said it dries to a blue colour not the grey that its labelled as
