Works pretty much as expected. One minor issue is that the range of the movement sensor is quite long and I can't adjust it so it activates when cars go and people walk past my house as I don't have a long front garden.

This item did not work properly for my property, it stayed in all night electrician came back twice to adjust settings etc. but still couldn’t get it to work correctly so ended up returning it which was a shame as loved the stylish design.

The range cannot be adjusted, only the light level (e.g. darkness, dusk or daylight) and the illumination time.

The PIR detects heat or movement in a fan shaped arc approx 110 degrees for a distance up to 7metres. The detection distance depends on height installation and weather conditions. You can set the time light is on though from 10secs to 5 mins.

Hi Emily, I am very pleased with the lights which I have on my annex, the lights at moment only come on for about 3 seconds which I find isn’t long enough but apparently they can be adjusted, my builder fitted them and has the instructions so haven’t tried to do this myself yet but I assume it’s quite easy to set them as required. They are quite sensitive and I always know when the muntjac is paying a visit. Have just found ins manual online and it can be set from 10 secs to 5 mins, so mine hasn’t been set up at all yet it seems. Hope that helps. Margaret.
