Exactly what I needed
Been suffering with I dislodged and torn tendon in my shoulder which causes it to freeze and unable to move due to the level of pain, this was perfect for keeping my arm comfortable and helping to ease the pain

I needed this and it really helps

Uncomfortable
This is so uncomfortable for long use, it digs in your neck and offered little support for the wrist. The hospital one was more comfortable

Great support. Fits well.. and comfortable
Bought this for my mam who had a fractured shoulder. Hospital gave her a ridiculous strap to leave with so I purchased this so she had more comfort. Support!

Worked a treat for my son. And better than the ave
Bought as the sling we got from hospital hurt his neck after he had broken his collarbone. Brilliant peace of kit

Arm better now thank you mr Argos
Bad arm man, 35 - 44, Wales
Good item
This supported my arm very well, the only downside for me as a woman was that the shoulder strap only fitted diagonal so it caused pain in my neck. For men and small breasted women this would not be a problem.

Love the added belt
Good for the arm but if you have a bad neck it is uncomfortable (on the neck) like the waist belt thats a great idea

Not for left arm. Velcro not working after a week
At first this sling was quite comfortable much better than the NHS provided sling. However after a week of use the velcro has stopped being sticky. It's also worth noting that the shoulder pad section also starts to deteriorate too. I bought this sling as my left clavicle is broken and it is to immobilise the arm. Whilst the product can be used for both arms it is designed for the right arm as there is a strap in the middle that will be done up towards you rather than away from you. This means that to do up the sling there will be some shoulder/arm movement which could cause significant pain. This should really be addressed as whilst it is possible to wear on left arm it is much less comfortable this way round

Hi Mark
Our supplier says " As the item is a sling it will be good for periods of rest and avoiding movement of the shoulder if this is what has been advised by a medical professional however this will not fully immobilize the shoulder joint so if this is required then this will not be suitable. Also depending on the location of the tear then the sling may offer little support"
