I bought a Meaco Dry Arete One 25 Litre Dehumidifier from Argos several months go, and it has been running on Continuous Mode - extracting the excess moisture from my home ever since . . It is a great piece of kit, and I sincerely believe that I now would be lost without it - as my home suffers from an acute problem with damp. The amount of moisture this machine extracts from the air - thus lowering the the humidity throughout the whole house is staggering. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone who is looking to purchase a superior quality No1 brand dehumidifier.

Great machine for house's and flats.
Bought this for son & daughter in law for there flat which suffered from moisture and mould. So far its working very well would thoroughly recommend this machine, filtration good, mobility good, noise very quiet.well pleased.

Replacement for a cheaper dehumidifier which failed a week out of warranty. Its big and heavy but seems well made. The lead is usefully long compared with its predecessor I chose the Arete One instead of the Two because theres slightly less electronic gadgetry to fail. It has a 5 yr warranty so heres hoping Its remarkably quiet for such a big machine but you wouldn't want to have it running while you sleep. Its powerful too and drew out its first tankful of water from the laundry overnight. Theres several modes of operation and several levels of target humidity to choose from. We have had it on continuous mode for around ten hours and it got the room down to 23%. Its big enough for the whole house but we use it as a replacement for the tumbl drier.The saving on electricity over a few has been enough to payf or the dehumidifierswe have bought Theres an optional hepa filter which apparently cleans the air at the expense of a bit more noise - Ive fitted it mostly to protect the machines insides a bit more from dust.

Amazing
I bought this three weeks ago and.. I don’t understand why I didn’t buy this earlier. There’s much less dust at home now. My child and I are breathing much fresher air thanks to the built-in HEPA filter. On top of that, it collects a full tank of water within a day. I’m very satisfied with this device. Highly recommend.

Game changer
Absolute game changer in our house, it is taking an unbelievable amount of moisture out of the air every day. No condensation and clothes dried quickly. Not too noisy and not using a huge amount of electricity.

I am really surprised by how much moisture this device is able to extract from within my property. this should allow me to paint my walls sooner than if the newly skimmed would of been allowed to dry naturally.

When the water tank of the Meaco Dry Arete One 25 Litre Dehumidifier is full and requires emptying, the dehumidifier will turn off, bleep five times and the water tank full indicator will light up solid. To empty the water tank, simply pull the water tank out from the dehumidifier and empty the water. The handle can be used to make it easier to carry the water tank. Use the pouring holes on the left or right corner of the water tank to empty the water (the water tank lid does not need to be removed).
