Great Dehumidifier, quiet and effective
This is the 3rd dehumidifier we've had and by far the best one in terms of noise and drying rate. Really simple to control, can be used up against a wall, has a built in air purifier and has a night mode which shuts off the lights, reduces the fan speed and removes any beeps.

Great Dehumidifier
I recently bought the 12L version and was so impressed I purchased this 25L too. The unit works very well and is so surprising how much water I have to empty that’s been taken out of the air. The rooms that these operate in definitely heat up a lot quicker than others that don’t have them in. I had an issue with the digital humidity reading and had to turn it down by 10% to get it to stay on. Meaco sent me a complete new unit within 3 days, which was impressive. Having a free 5 year warranty is great too. Just remember to keep your proof of purchase for that.

Had the Medco for two weeks and we’ve noticed the difference. It pulls all the dampness from our house, we had to clear the bedroom and bathroom window every morning of condensation even though we opened the bathroom window when showering etc. we’ve had 2 weeks of condensation free windows.

Wish I’d bought it sooner
So glad that I bought this dehumidifier, just wish I’d bought it sooner. This Meaco is a great bit of kit. Works really well and noticed the difference straight away on the first cold and frosty morning when we didn’t have condensation on the inside of our UPVC double glazed windows and patio doors. Plug it in and apart from emptying the water tray, which I do about once each day, you just leave it do its thing. The noise from the machine is like having a fan going in the background. You can definitely hear it but it isn’t annoying or disruptive. We have ours in the living room / dinning room which is fine but I don’t think I’d want it going all night in a bedroom I’d be sleeping in. But it looks and feels like a quality bit of kit.

Have bought Meaco 25l after lot of research for a 3 bed detached bungalow which had lot of condensation issues with the temp dropping to sub zero. The humidity level has dropped significantly since then. There are also few customer complaints regarding the unit breaking down however it has 5 years warranty just in case .

When the water tank of the Meaco Dry Arete One 25 Litre Dehumidifier is full and requires emptying, the dehumidifier will turn off, bleep five times and the water tank full indicator will light up solid. To empty the water tank, simply pull the water tank out from the dehumidifier and empty the water. The handle can be used to make it easier to carry the water tank. Use the pouring holes on the left or right corner of the water tank to empty the water (the water tank lid does not need to be removed).
