Meaco dehumidifier
This is the second meaco dehumidifier I have purchased. It is perfect in the kitchen whilst cooking,it demists almost immediately and also takes the chill out of the kitchen. It is surprising how much water is collected which would otherwise be in the walls. I use one upstairs to dry my washing it’s perfect

Fantastic, really pleased!

We bought this dehumidifier as we had problems with condensation using a electric airer The electric airer has NOW GONE this dehumidifier is the best bit of kit for drying laundry no condensation works fantastic no black mould drys washing so quickly you don’t have to turn the washing over don’t buy a electric airier put a little more money towards this . it’s fantastic plus it comes with a five year warranty it’s very cheap to run no difference than electric airier

Reduced home humidity by 30%!
Expensive but worth every penny. We were struggling with damp & mould in our spare bedroom and since having a baby we’d become very conscious of this. Bought this dehumidifier and the humidity in the house has reduced by 30%. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit.

Meaco Dry Arete One 20 Litre Dehumidifier:
Having checked the instructions, they advise:
The dust filter is a life-long filter and therefore should not need to be replaced (other than for wear and
tear reasons). When used regularly, the filter may become clogged with dust and dirt particles. The
filter must be cleaned a minimum of every two weeks.
1. Remove the dust filter from the dehumidifier by sliding the filter case to the left, away from the
dehumidifier. The dust filter is built into the filter case and cannot be removed – you may have
to remove the HEPA filter to access the dust filter.
2. Clean the dust filter with the end of a hoover or soapy water no hotter than 40°C. Rinse and
dry completely before inserting back into the dehumidifier.
The HEPA filter is optional and the dehumidifier can be used without this fitted. The HEPA filter is not life-long and must be replaced when the colour changes from white to
grey (it depends on the environment the dehumidifier is being used in but the HEPA filter will
need replacing roughly every 3 months). It can be hoovered every so often to remove dust or dirt.

“ Yes, you can use a mild disinfectant to clean the water tank. Just make sure to choose a mild, non-toxic disinfectant that’s safe for plastic i.e. dish soap. Avoid strong chemicals like bleach, as they can damage the plastic or leave a bad smell. ”
