Just the job!
Last year I used so-called waterproof padlocks - which seized up!! So I purchased extra ‘normal’ padlocks, which I have used before….. if they are looked after, they are as good as ‘waterproof’ and are the right fit for all my outdoor boxes and benches - not that I keep valuables in there, the locks prevent the lids blowing open in a storm and the grandchildren’s outdoor toys gating wet - plus the birdseed doesn’t get wet either!!

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Master Lock Aluminium Padlock - Twin Pack.
As long as the keys are dried before use then they should be fine.
The locks are aluminium so pretty corrosion resistant.

These are made for indoor use the padlock is best used for school locker, gym, travel luggage, suitcase, briefcase, backpack etc. Not recommended for permanent outdoor use.

The supplier has advised the following on the Master Lock Aluminium Padlock – Twin:
“ This lock has thousands of key changes and the way it is packed ensures that locks with the same key numbers are never distributed to the same area. To put it simply, it is extremely unlikely that someone else’s key will fit into the lock. ”

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
Yes, the Master Lock Aluminium Padlock - Twin Pack are keyed alike padlocks – both keys will fit both locks.

The diameter of the shackle is 6mm and the shackle height is 21mm.

The first answer is somewhat misleading. There are 2 padlocks in the pack but only 2 keys. That means only one key per padlock. If you want extra keys you'll have to go to a key cutter and pay £3.95 per key.
