One for all really works.
The first thing is to read the instructions and fully understand what they are saying, it's not an easy to understand if you try skimp on the instructions. This controller is not the same as yours so it may operate in a slightly different way. This is what made it a bit difficult in setting up, trying to use the same buttons, but with trial and error you will negotiate the operation of your TV. Once I got to grips with it, it became easier. Once I got it to work my TV but slightly in a different way it did serve its purpose and were delighted at the results. It gave me codes to put in on set up, but the codes did work but you have to try all codes to see which one is the closest to your old remote. Now ive set it up im am now more than happy with the end result. My TV were 12 years old first generation, but TVs less old TVs may set up more easily. For the price of the unit I were well happy. One For Some, but not for All
I bought this remote control to replace the one that came with a Majority dvd player also bought from Argos. The writing on the box states that this should work with all TVs, dvd players etc. Inside the box there's a long list of codes for various brands, but none for Majority. I tried the code search function, as described by OneForAll, several times, but it never found a code. I emailed OneForAll explaining and asking for a code, but they never replied. I had no choice, but to return the remote control.

Our supplier has advised that the One For All URC1240 Contour Universal TV Remote Control 4 can only control devices via IR.
The Fire Stick is controlled via Bluetooth (RF). This would also require the remote to be paired.
If the LG TV model support HDMI CEC you can control the stick with the TV remote. In that case you could also use the URC 1240s TV mode to control it.
To pair and control the Fire Stick directly you would need a smart remote model with BT functionality, such as the URC 7945, 7966 or 7985.
