Great fun!
I bought this for my four year old grandson who saw the game on a episode of Paddington! I don't encourage him to use the lounge furniture as an assault course and this has really done the trick. Although I am not sure how strong the mats are and how long they will last, it is a really fun active game, that he can play on his own, or with his friends. It's a balance challenge for us penioners too!

Hi Em,
Thanks for your query about the The Floor is Lava Game.
Whether they enjoy it would of course be very much a personal thing so we cannot confirm with any accuracy on that, however, the game can be played by children aged 3 years and over.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Andy,
The mats on “The Floor is Lava” are made from a foam material, so they grip well on hard and carpeted floors.

Hi there

Thanks for using Q & A
They are a soft thin foam so they would slip on a hard floor but this game is safer played on carpet in our experience! They can slip on carpet but it’s not been an issue for us
Hi John,
