The Candy BCTD H7A1TE is an integrated heat pump tumble dryer designed to deliver efficient drying for small households. With a 7kg capacity, it handles everyday laundry including cottons, synthetics, woollens and delicates with ease. The heat pump technology recycles hot air instead of wasting it, making this model significantly more energy-efficient than standard condenser dryers. It operates as a plug-in appliance with an A energy rating, consuming 269kWh per year.
This dryer features Sensor Dry technology that stops the cycle when clothes reach the selected dryness, preventing over-drying and saving energy. The LED display and dial offer 15 programmes, including cotton, synthetics, woollens, easy iron, and quick dry. Wi-Fi lets you download programmes and control cycles via the Candy Simply-Fi app. The patented Easy Case water container in the door allows quick emptying. Does the job
Bought about a month ago as I was looking for an integrated tumble dryer (preferably vented but it wasn't to be) Limited availability on a much needed urgent purchase. Takes an age to dry (hence why I wanted vented). I have stuck to using the denim programme for all my drying this proves more effective. Don't understand why you would need it to include WiFi. It is loud, you would never forget that you had it on. Very easy to empty the water but the fluff filter I have to get on my knees, take off the bottom panel, turn the knobs then eventually get to it. It's doing the job (slowly) & hopefully it will cost less to run than a vented one.

Useless tumble dryer
Absolutely gutted only seems to dry clothes on the jeans setting takes over 2 hours and even when the programme has finished it continues does not even stop!if I could have a refund I would gladly !

Waiting for replacement
I bought it and turned out that compressor was faulty. Waiting for replacement from argos. Hopefully next one will be fine.Also it takes long to dry a load compared to vented tumble dryer I had before, but I guess it's because of heat pump.

Super dryer
Really happy with the dryer - it does what it says . Has plenty of drying option cycles and great for the environment. Love the water reservoir attached to the door , it’s so easy to empty. Can operate from my phone too ! It fits perfectly into my kitchen unit.

I love that you can connect your phone via the hOn app, and choose from 41 different settings including baby clothes, bed linen, and even cuddly toys ! Usually I can find tumble dryer settings quite confusing, and worry about items shrinking, so I love how user-friendly this one is. It’s compact, but can fit a lot inside. I especially like how the water tank is on the door, it’s so easy to empty and this way i will never forget about it. It’s been revolutionary for me, as a mum who does multiple washes per week!

Amazing tumble dryer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing dryer! Lovely machine, looks nice in my place and love that it has Bluetooth so I can connect my phone. It has so many different drying options and very easy to set up and use. Isn't too noisy and dries the clothes really well. Some programs take longer than others but not an issue for me. It's also alot more energy efficient than my old one so I'm very happy! Candy is also a very good make and I've had other appliances from candy and never had a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Build quality is brilliant small and compact, not overly loud when in use, capacity is just right for smaller amounts of clothes and energy wise hardly uses anything so very good, drying performances are great good selection of different settings and perfect that you can set it up to wifi on your phone to start it off there would highly recommend this dryer easy to empty the water too it’s in the door which I think is a brilliant idea you can see from the outside when it needs emptying

The height of the dryer is 82cms however, the 4 adjustable feet allow the height of the dryer to be adjusted from 82.7cms to a maximum of 84.7cms.
