When imaginary battles call for Darth Vader's power, this electronic lightsaber brings the dark side home. The extendable red blade flicks open and lights up, and there's a glowing translucent core inside inspired by kyber crystals. Press the buttons and you'll hear sound effects from the Star Wars films. The character design matches Darth Vader's iconic look. It's made up of 4 parts that children can assemble themselves. The blade extends for action. The core glows through the see-through casing when you switch it on.
The lights and sounds add drama to pretend duels. It's part of the Lightsaber Forge Kyber Core line, which features translucent parts that let you see the glowing core inside. The grip is easy for smaller hands to hold. It encourages active play and imaginative storytelling. Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Suitable for ages 4 years and over.

Enjoyable if your a real Star Wars fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy has all the sounds of a real lightsaber. It’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around. My only issue is the blade getting stuck every-time my daughter wanted to flick out the blade, it was getting really stuck and when you hold it aloft, the blade slides back into place.

Perfect toy for a star wars fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is just what my son has always wanted, being a big Star Wars fan It lights up blue, has very realistic sound effects It's not particularly heavy, quite lightweight but decent quality too. There's not too many buttons on it, but the on and off button. I think if dropped it shouldn't break but possibly snap in parts The detail in the longer part of the lightsaber is very pretty

Flashing and noisy - great light sabre!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little boy has wanted this for ages after playing with his cousins. The light sabre is a good size for my 8 year old hands as well as Dads! The light sabre makes realistic star wars noises and flashes. Easy to take apart and collapse. I like this as its not heavy plastic when swishing it around so hipefully no one will get hurt!

To change the batteries on the Star Wars Lightsaber Forge Bladesmith Darth Vader, follow these steps:
Remove the lightsaber blade by twisting it off the hilt gently to avoid damage.
Remove the screws from the hilt using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.
Remove the old batteries and clean the battery compartment thoroughly.
Insert the new batteries correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.
