Customers Say
Lightweight, smooth-gliding iron with good steam function and clear water tank. Easy to use and good value, but short power cord and stiff water filler cap are common issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not very happy with length of cable. My old Morphy Richards had a longer one. I now have to use an extension lead.

Seems to be as good as my previous iron and not too heavy. Plastic cover to put water in is a bit tricky to open but overall a decent iron.

Easy to see filling line
Used the iron on one load of ironing. Seems to work fine. Used the full steam as I do on all of my ironing. Easy to see filling line and thst was the main reason for choosing it. As others have said the water filler flap is stiff to open but I'll just leave it open slightly. Good value for money!

Great lightweight iron
Great lightweight iron at a reasonable price. Good view of water. Works v well on my cotton items Only 4 stars due to short cord and no switch off mechanism if left on.

Good value, but not perfect
Very difficult to get the water cap off, especially for older fingers. It is lighter, which is good for older folk. Ironing seems ok, but really need to make that water cap less stiff

Good value, works great
This is the third time I have bought this model of iron. It’s a great good value iron. Lady one lasted 6 years ! Only thing negative is you can’t get into the iron to do a repair.. hence new iron bought x

Hi Chris,
The Morphy Richards 300300 Crystal Clear Steam Iron is corded, so will need to be plugged into the mains when in use.

Hi Chris,
The Morphy Richards 300300 Crystal Clear Steam Iron is a corded electric appliance that operates at 2400 watts and requires a standard AC mains power supply. It does not have a rechargeable battery, so it cannot be charged or used without being plugged into a power outlet.

Hi There,
Morphy Richards 300300 Crystal Clear Steam Iron
Having checked I can see I can see the manual advises: To reduce limescale damage we recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water, available at most large supermarkets. This is particularly important if you live in a hard water area.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Think it has a difficult-glide function...
Hello Concerned,
From the information we have available I can confirm this Morphy Richards 300300 Crystal Clear Steam Iron does not have an easy glide feature.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hi, yes you do use the cover at the top to fill, It is tight on first use but will be easier once opened.
HI,
Please note the self-clean is incorporated into the variable steam slider switch and is the OPPOSITE side to MAX.
To self-clean, please PUSH and HOLD the steam switch slider all the way to the LHS. When finished self cleaning, the switch will spring back to the “O” position when let go. - Morphy Richards
Hello Sippy,
I can confirm that the water level will be clearly seen on the body of the iron.
I hope this helps
