Recently picked this up from local Argos. Shame we had to wait in the queue for over 40 minutes whilst one poor man ran around doing everything bless him. Anyway back to the iron, its great easy to use and nice and light which was important as I have week wrists.

Easy to fill with water & easy to see how much is in the tank. Nice weight of iron & it does the job well, once you have worked out the temperature setting which isn't obvious. Great value for the price - I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Having checked I can see I can see the manual advises: To reduce limescale damage we recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water, available at most large supermarkets. This is particularly important if you live in a hard water area.

Hi, yes you do use the cover at the top to fill, It is tight on first use but will be easier once opened.

Please note the self-clean is incorporated into the variable steam slider switch and is the OPPOSITE side to MAX.
To self-clean, please PUSH and HOLD the steam switch slider all the way to the LHS. When finished self cleaning, the switch will spring back to the “O” position when let go. - Morphy Richards
