Fantastic bit of kit
Took a while to connect but once it did we were up and away! I personally think for £17.99 this is a fantastic piece of equipment. I bought it to keep an eye on my aged cat. Obviously one only views one room/area but I assume you can buy multiple. For my usage it was perfect - such a clear image and I think you can talk through it too?

The Tapo C100 supports 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi networks only and does not support direct connection to a 5 GHz Wi‑Fi network.
If your router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, you can connect the camera to the 2.4 GHz network and it should work normally. If your router is configured to use only 5 GHz, you will need to enable a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network for the camera to connect.

You can also enable loop recording. When enabled, new recordings will overwrite older videos when the storage is full.

If the camera is installed behind glass, infrared lights may cause reflection when the camera works in the Night mode, resulting in blurry and unclear images, thereby hindering timely detection of moving objects.

The supplier has advised for the Tapo C100 1080P Wi-Fi Indoor Security Camera: Once your Tapo camera is set up and connected to the internet, you can view and control it remotely using the Tapo app, even when you are away from home or in a different country. As long as the camera stays online, you can use cellular data or any internet connection on your phone or tablet to access the camera feed and receive notifications through the Tapo app.
Please note, setting up the camera initially must be done locally (with your phone, camera, and router in the same place), but after setup, remote access is fully supported.
