Good carpet cleaner

Used it for the first time today, few little hiccups but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Just 2 things I think could be done to improve it and give it 5 stars: 1, hose length is too short for my stairs and the stairs are too narrow for the machine to sit safely on them whilst using machine, I know it would be difficult to have a longer hose connected permanently but could a extension hose be fitted in future? 2, using the hose, there appears to be no mode for dry only, so when using the hose the carpets don’t dry as quickly as using the main unit Overall though very pleased with my purchase

Over the moon..,

Bought this model early October couldn’t be happier. It’s light weight and easy to use although I’m tall so would love handle to be longer. The tools supplied are perfect for getting cat hair off almost every thing - it’s mortifying when you empty the dirty water out and it’s mud and cat hair - just lurking in your carpet despite hoovering daily. The original solution liquid is very good too and way better than any other cheaper alternative. With a free steamer thrown in when I bought it I’m over the moon with the service and value from Vax - thank you very much.

Pretty fair machine

Used 3times now, drying v,good, stains v,good, suction v,good, ergonomics v,good, debris extraction v,good, overall good machine but my only faults are the waist tank float is to light and regenerated foam will lift the float way before it’s required, ( I removed float and it was successful). The handle removal would help for storage but this is a no go.

Broke half way through our first room.

Half way through the first room the brush bar stopped working, called them up and they didn't even offer a rapair, they just asked if i wanted a refund. Now i keep getting pestered to leave a review, so here it is.

Great product

Great product we used it straight away and the carpet came back to life and the carpet wasnt left soaking wet. It was so easy to use and the extra dry function is good. I would definitely recommend this cleaner 👌

Great carpet washer

I ve had this two weeks and used it numerous times already and it’s fab. Not as heavy as the smart wash and also the front cover seems sturdier. The last model kept breaking plastic bits off and had to replace twice. Leaves the carpet super dry and the new cleaning fluid seems good. Not as heavy too. All in all a great machine. Hope it lasts as long as my other two

Good buy

I bought the Vax to clean our carpet after a busy summer of visitors. It was easy to use and made the carpet clean and dry in a short period of time. The only drawback was the size of the dirty water tank which needed emptying before the clean water tank was empty.

Very heavy and struggled with cat hair

This machine has done a decent job on my carpet and rug, however I was surprised by how heavy it is. It seemed to work fine, except when I went to empty the dirty water, there wasn’t any! It could only be that the drier wasn’t drawing the water back out of the carpet, even though the light indicated that it was working. When I checked, there was a huuuge caterpillar of cat hair inside, clogging the roller. I thought this machine was designed for pet owners? I also found that the hose kept coming loose and getting in the way whilst using the machine. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
