About this product
TCL V6D Fire TV Series combines 4K HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, a slim bezel-less contemporary design and Fire TV. On top, with Game Master including VRR and ALLM, this TV is the best companion to enjoy any HDR movies, sports and games. TCL Fire TV is the latest generation of television featuring a complete Fire TV experience built-in and including a Voice Remote with Alexa. Thanks to ultimate 4K HDR picture quality and access to movies and TV shows you love, it delivers a TV experience that gets smarter every day.
4K HDR - True-to-Life: Experience stunning 4K HDR picture quality. Enjoy brighter highlights, deeper blacks and richer colours, revealing details as filmmakers intended. Supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG.
HDR 10+ - Every Detail Comes Alive: With HDR 10+, each scene is optimised frame by frame. Bright highlights stay vivid, dark scenes keep detail, and colours look more natural for a clearer, more realistic picture.
Motion Clarity - Smooth Motion, Clear View: MEMC motion enhancement analyses fast-moving scenes to reduce blur and judder. Enjoy smoother action, clearer details and more fluid motion when watching sports, movies and fast-paced content.
HVA Panel - Clear Contrast, Any Angle: TCL's HVA Panel delivers higher contrast and reduces halo effects, keeping images clear even in bright rooms. Enjoy deeper blacks, sharper details and wide viewing angles.
Game Master - Play like a Pro: Enjoy smoother, more responsive gaming with HDMI 2.1. ALLM automatically lowers input lag, while VRR reduces tearing and stutter for fluid gameplay and clear visuals in fast-paced action.

TLC television
Its a good enough tv for the bedroom. But if you want a better tv for living room dont buy this The colours are ok nice and bright but the dark scenery looks bad as it blooms alot. I got it for xbox and it Dvds. Its only 60 hrz REFESH rate nothing startling. Does the job. My biggest issue is the remote. Very very slow in responding. Upto 3 seconds before it does whats needed.motion does flow well but can be jittery with fast moving objects. Tv or gaming. The viewing is again good for my needs. I have an 84 inch TLC in living room but much more spec and responsive than its weeker models. Overall not bad but not great.

Hello Jim,
TCL 55 Inch 55V6D-UK Smart 4K UHD HDR DLED Freely Fire TV:
Yes, you can sideload apps on this TV.
Because the TV runs on the Amazon Fire TV operating system (Fire OS), it functions exactly like an Amazon Firestick. This means you can bypass the official Amazon Appstore to install third-party Android apps.
