[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this product to test, wow, it is so good at deep cleaning your carpets! I’ve had it for a few weeks now because I wanted to really get to know it before posting this review. I wanted to test it across not just carpets but also rugs and mats. Now, for rugs and mats, you need to weight the edges and corners down because the suction on this is power and it has an auto cut off in case anything gets sucked into it. However, even though you need that extra step, it does do a brilliant job. I have 3 cats, they can be messy, which they have been with the recent hot weather. Any mess they made on my carpets, gone instantly with this carpet cleaner. I do recommend hoovering first but you don’t actually need to.

Great device cleans well and can be cleaned easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve used carpet cleaners previously as we have pets but always found them to be cumbersome to use and move around as well as leaving the carpets and rugs wetter than I’d expect. This is not the case with the Shark CarpetForce Upright cleaner. It’s easy to move around due to be light for the job that it does. It cleans well and extracts a lot of water leaving the carpets relatively dry due to its excellent suction. The bit I liked most was the ease at which the carpet cleaner can be cleaned after use. It is extremely easy to dismantle and clean, this is important when you have pets and hair ends up all through the extraction system. With this cleaner pretty much the whole extraction system can be removed and cleaned to a point that the cleaner looks like new again. I would certainly recommend this cleaner for carpets and rugs, particularly if you have pets. It’s a great machine and doesn’t weigh a ton. Another great Shark product added to our ever growing range .

Would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the cleaner easy to set up and use. I used it with the cleaning solution supplied with the machine. It worked really well on my rug and thicker pile carpet, there were a few areas which had stains which I concentrated a little more on. The cleaner lifted theses stains and the end result was very good. I liked the fresh smell from the cleaning solution too. I was surprised at how quickly I could get the carpets cleaned and how quickly they dried. It was easy to empty and refill, the dirty water tank doesn’t take much water however was easy enough to empty. The machine was also very easy to clean afterwards with all areas easily accessible to clear out any dirt or debris that collected. The only downside to this machine is that it doesn’t have a hose or handheld accessory to clean the stairs. I will need to clean them with a separate machine. But other than that I was pleased with the performance and results.

Great cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cleaner brought my carpet up like new, its very easy to use and self explanatory which is great, it all comes apart for cleaning afterwards which is a great idea if you have pets like I do it pulled loads of hair up that i didnt know was there even though I hoovered before left the floor quite wet still which is to be expected its very light to push and pull which I was surprised about overall a really good cleaner handle comes off and is quite compact for storage

Great Carpet Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Carpet cleaner as I was about to go on holiday so didn't get the chance to use it until today. It is very easy to set up and the fill lines on the water/detergent container make it very easy to get the right mixture for cleaning. I love the option of light or heavy cleaning which I have not experienced before on my past carpet cleaners. The suction was very good and my carpet didn't feel too damp to the touch even after being in the heavy cleaning setting. The carpet cleaner is also very easy to clean afterwards, being able to remove the brush and the front panel by the brush, which is one of my biggest problems with my old carpet cleaner (another brand). I there is one thing that i could say could improve the carpet cleaner, is the addition of a upholstery/stairs attachment. I have carpeted stair and would have loved to have been able to use the cleaner on them to see how that performed but sadly not able to do this. Overall, I have found it to be an excellent carpet cleaner which i will use often

Very easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am trialling this product and have found it really easy to set up and it is not too heavy to manoeuvre. There are marks on the fluid container so it's difficult to get the water and cleaner amounts wrong and you just lean the handle back, with your foot on the base, to start it working, once you have decided on express or deep clean. You push forward to begin the cleaner flowing and pull back to suck up the excess water. You can do this a couple of times, then whatever you are cleaning will dry more quickly, with no stickiness. I didn't see a difference in colour when I cleaned my bedroom carpet, although the water was dirty and there were a lot of fluff balls , but I did when I cleaned my rugs and door mats - higher traffic areas. The dirty water tank seems to need emptying after 10 - 15 minutes, but doesn't look full of water - I think it must be that the filter is blocked. It is really easy to do though. All in all a good product.

Great Compact & Light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my EX500UK Carpet Cleaner from Shark to test it for them. And I am so pleased just how compact & light it is, I've had carpet cleaners in the past & they are so bulky & too heavy. It's also great for storing as it's so compact especially if you have limited storage space in your home. I'm pleased to say it's very easy to use, also with excellent cleaning results my carpets came up like new again using the express clean & deep clean mode, The water vessel held plenty of water to clean my upstairs carpets & the shampoo smells so nice, my carpets were dry in an hour or so as the suction is so good. I really liked how easy it was to clean after it's been used, everything just comes apart to rinse ready for it's next use, compared with previous carpet cleaners this makes life a lot easier. Overall I was very impressed with the results & for me it ticks all my boxes it's compact light & easy to use, probably just one extra it could with is an attachment for the stairs.

Fantastic cleaning power from a compact unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now had a fortnight to use the Carpetforce upright cleaner. I have been using alongside my old trusty model. And have found the suction and cleaning power on deep pile carpet far better. It is lighter than my old model so easier to move around and do stairs. The carpets and rooms smeel cleaner and has coped with all the muck and dust my dog brings in. The compact size and easy to use controls give true versatility and leaves carpets dry to touch upon completion. The machine is easy to operate with everything falling to hand readily. I was sent the product as part of promotion for clarity and honesty but after seeing mine my daughter has purchased one as well.

Great lightweight cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lightweight carpet cleaner, having used another make previously i found this one easier to use and store as its not much bigger than a normal vacuum cleaner. It left my carpets nice abd clean. The only drawback I found and why I took ine star off is its only suitable for flat areas and not stairs. But im more than happy with it. Would definitely recommend it
