Fabulous radio easy to use.
I love this radio. The instructions are easy to understand It is very straight forward to use, and with me it has to be!! It is light weight and very portable. I tend to plug it in to the mains as it uses batteries up quite quickly. I have bought one for my Mum

So good we bought two!
Combines the clarity of a modern DAB radio with the classic looks of the good old days before wifi. So good we have two. One upstairs and one down.

Replacement
Sounds good for a small radio which is to replace our PURE DAB radio, for some reason lost DAB signal.

Love the vintage feel
I bought this over two months ago and I use it in my work from home office. The quality and ease of use are the things which I love. I also have a Roberts alarm clock and Roberts Sound System, so brand loyalty is a factor in my purchase decision. Our cats, Mozart and Toulouse, say that they also enjoy listening to my Roberts radio.

Surprising failure
Unsatisfactory. Unable to use rechargable batteries.

Vintage Classic
Excellent radio. One issue should be improved. The four rubberised feet should be sited further towards the front & back of radio to prevent it from being unstable on a flat surface due to feet being set not far enough apart. It 'wobbles' & is unstable because feet are sited onwards and too far away from front & back.

Excellent radio
My 3rd Roberts Vintage. First was in 2012 but had no DAB+. Still works fine. Second was in 2017 and was a bit of a disaster - temperamental. This new one looks the same on the outside but they've totally revamped it internally. The batteries now each have a separate compartment, meaning each gets charged individually. (They used to be charged together in series and would become unbalanced and unreliable.) They've also managed to reduce power consumption by 20% (~93 mA at normal volume - my measurement). The radio now feels the way it should have all along. (But then technology HAS come on a lot in the last 12 years.) The main advantage of the Vintage always was that it runs C-type batteries, which themselves have improved markedly - capacity now in excess of 4,500 mAh. Here in London, auto-tune picks up 106 stations (takes 40 secs). This always was a good radio - is now a great radio. Good sound, good run time, good portability, good looks. Really glad Roberts have managed to improve this model so much. (Sad thing is radio program content has seriously deteriorated IMHO. Maybe Roberts could do some work on this too!)

A very satisfactory radio
This is the second of these radios we have bought.

Versatile Radio All Round
Very pleased with this radio, this is my first Roberts product and impresses me. the inbuilt battery charger is a great facility, also works in my car on its own aerial on DAB+ and fits in my glove compartent, even when driving rarely loses the station on DAB +, also doubles as a bedside radio. Will look to Roberts when next I purchase radio stuff.

I love this portable, great sounding radio
I bought this earlier in the year. I love everything about it, including that it's built for Dab+ now that I've just learnt I'll be needing that in a few weeks time!
