About this product
Cut draughts and keep warmth where it belongs with this thermal door curtain that's made for hanging by external doors. The thick fabric and thermal lining stop cold air creeping in and warm air escaping, so you'll spend less on heating bills. The cream plain design works with any decor, and it darkens the room while giving you privacy when you need it. The 117cm wide panel fits standard doors, and it's suitable for both curtain poles and curtain tracks, so you can hang it the way that suits your space.
The thermal lining provides insulation throughout the colder months, and it's machine washable at 40C to keep care straightforward. The gentle wash cycle keeps the fabric and lining in good condition, and any creases from packaging can be removed with a cool iron. Whether you're blocking draughts in a hallway or adding warmth to a back door, this curtain helps keep your home comfortable without fuss.

Too thin and lightweight to be "Thermal"...?
For a curtain specifically labelled and therefore marketed as "Thermal", it is very thin and lightweight so I honestly don't hold out much hope that it will keep any significant draughts out of our hallway :-(

Perfect for requirements.
Exactly as described. Perfect size and very happy with overall product.

Nice for not thick
Nice material and colour but thinner than expected. I have sewn a moving blanket to the back of it for extra thickness.

Door Curtains??
I am totally satisfied with the curtains. As it happens I have put them up at my windows and they look perfect. They are lined so act as blackouts and also keep the house warm.

Good value for money.
I ordered two. One of each size am altering the biggest size for kitchen window to match the door. Had to shorten them. Not blackout.

It does what it says on the tin !!!
We have a couple of these and they have made a significant difference, home feels warmer and the look great too. Excellent value, super easy to hang, only wish we’d got them last winter !

Effective heat retention but QC lacking
I've noticed a significant difference in heat loss reduction overnight however the curtain seems not to have been made square. The hook loops at the top have been added at an angle, and at least one of the sides has a bow in it as it doesn't hang straight. Hopefully this is a one off. It does it's job and I got it on sale so will keep it, but it's worth bearing in mind if the curtain will be installed in a prominent place.

Hello Sara,
Argos Home Thermal Door Curtain - Cream - 117x213cm.
This is designed with a thermal lining, which helps to reduce draughts, retain warmth in colder weather, and provide insulation at the door. It can also help to reduce heat transfer through the doorway, which may help keep a room cooler during warmer weather.

Hello kfh,
The supplier has advised the following on the Home Thermal Door Curtain - Cream:

The curtains are too substantial to expect a wire to hold them. A track would be better.
