Customers Say
The ladder is sturdy and versatile, ideal for various tasks, but many users find it challenging to assemble and unsuitable for standard UK stairs due to its width. Design improvements are needed for better usability.

Could be so much better very easily
Good price and does the job don't get me wrong... But a little more thought on the design could make this bang on. The ladder aspect is fine and versatile. Literally one more rung on each would have made it the perfect height to get into a loft, but the overlap needed for the sections to stack is more than you might think, so you'll only get a few more rungs as it extends. On that, you won't be able to keep the feet on the upper portion to get it through the hatch either and removing those could be with latches rather than bolts. The platform bit is quite heavy, and picking it up from flat will always have you rolling it on the hooks which would connect it to the ladder sections when used as a platform. It wouldn't take long for those hooks to become bent and unusable as a result. I'd advise getting the bigger variant. It gets delivered anyways. The one I got didn't exactly look brand new mind, definitely thrown about and been in plenty of van trips I reckon...

Stable platform for decorating tall windows
A nice solid platform to make sash window renovation easy. No more up and down step ladders. Not sure why some people are giving bad reviews due to themselves not checking the ladders would fit their staircase, all the information is there in black and white.

Good Platform Ladder
I bought this ladder in the summer as an aid to trimming both sides of my 80yd beech hedge. Although slightly difficult to put together first time round, it is very sturdy and works fine. It was just the right ladder for the job and was very stable even though there is a slight incline in my garden. The alternative would have been to buy a much more expensive specialist garden ladder which would not have done the job so well because this ladder's platform enables one to work over a larger area before moving it.

5 in 1 cannot easily lock together when storing.
Just purchased and assembled your 5 in 1. Not used it yet! Frustratingly the 2 ladders do not easily clip together so they can be stored or be hung in a garage together. The black rubber feet on the stabiliser bars foul on one another which means the clip does not fully engage. I have forced the wider ladder down so the clip engages but separating the 2 ladders is extremely difficult. I can resolve this with a Stanley knife by trimming the rubber feet but for obvious reasons do not want to do this. Was hoping to have purchased a quick and easy step ladder which is versatile. The ladder remains versatile but a quick use step ladder it is not!

Would be great except stairs width
It took us about an hour to set this up due to lack of satisfactory instructions but once we’d figured it out it’s a very good sturdy ladder and trestle - perfect for the garden. Fortunately for us we don’t need to use it on the stairs but if we did it would be going back as it’s not fit for purpose being way too wide for our stairs. It’s actually being mid-sold and you must make it clear that it won’t fit most UK stairs.

Hello Bill,
The supplier has advised the following for the :
"I’ve consulted our QA team on this and, we would not classify the product as waterproof.
To expand & offer further end-user advice.
General safety advice would be to not use the product in adverse weather conditions.
Regarding product storage, we advise that the product should not be left where it’s condition could deteriorate more rapidly e.g. dampness, excessive heat or exposed to the elements.
The wood Platform itself is constructed from birch plywood laminate sheet with a plastic phenolic film face, but the cut edges of the platform are only sealed with paint (in this case red) to prevent water ingress which would cause the laminations to swell and come apart.
Therefore, the product does offer some weather resistance, but we wouldn’t class it as fully ‘waterproof’."
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Hi Gallagt
The maximum height in platform mode is 0.85m. This equates to the 3rd rung as shown in the picture. Placing the platform on the next rung up would take the platform height to over 1m.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
