About this product
The Vax Pick Up Pet is a bagless cylinder vacuum that's built for homes with pets and works across all floor types. It uses cyclonic technology for strong, consistent suction, and the large dust bin means you can cover more ground before needing to empty it. It's fairly light for a cylinder, and the compact design makes it easy to tuck away or carry between rooms.
The adjustable floorhead switches between carpets and hard floors, while the turbo brush handles stairs, upholstery and pet hair. It captures up to 99.9% of fine particles, ideal for allergy sufferers. Included are a crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle, dusting brush, and combination floor nozzle. The long power cord offers good reach with automatic rewind. The hose adds flexibility, and chrome telescopic tubes adjust to your height. It runs at about 80 decibels, similar to most cylinder vacuums. Suitable for carpets, rugs, hard floors, laminate, upholstery and stairs.

Customers Say
Vax vacuum offers strong suction, lightweight design, and good pet hair cleaning. Some find it noisy, heavy, or prone to clogging and loss of suction over time. Easy to empty but some report fiddly parts.

Unreliable, noisy and heavy
It sort of works, the suction power is reasonable, but it blocks really easily. Also, it makes odd noises as if some sort of diaphragm opens and closes. Despite the advertised low weight the consensus in our family is that it is heavy, and the noise level is fairly high. I would return this if we hadn't already used it.

Great hoover for small spaces
Nice and compact easy to store away.

Would not recommend
This hoover initially started out quite powerful and was handy for what we needed as primarily downstairs is hard floor with only a small area of carpeting upstairs. The hoover loses suction over time however and becomes an absolute nightmare, every single use I’m having to take it apart, clean the filters and even then the suction still isn’t great… While I appreciate it’s a fairly inexpensive hoover, it should last longer than 2 years before needing to be replaced. Wouldn’t recommend it and in all honestly I can’t wait to get rid of it

A good all-round product at a reasonable price.
For a compact vacuum cleaner, this does all we are looking for: versatile, effective suction and easy to dispose of the contents.

Good product,does the job.
Bought this Vax vacuum cleaner last week. Very pleased with it so far,it has good suction and.more than enough capacity to clean the whole house without having to empty it. It's less noisy than I expected and manoeuvres easily. The only negative aspect is its weight especially for older or handicapped people.

That would depend on the sander as to if the vacuum nozzle will fit. We would recommend cleaning out all the filters after using this with a sander.
