The lack of BBC iPlayer Application has soured this purchased. Unfortunately owners of this particular model of TV are all still waiting on the software update to be released by Samsung to allow the BBC iPlayer to be installed. The work arounds, being suggested are not really fit for purpose. We'd all just like the updated software please Samsung 🙏

The TV is really beautiful, thin, nice screen, fast interface. The only drawback is that BBC iPlayer is not available (still), if this was installed it would be a five star TV for me. I hope Samsung learn from this and prioritise getting essential national Broadcaster apps certified much faster, for a TV that launches six months ago to still not have any BBC apps is crazy. The AI enhancement features exist… but it’s hard to validate their effectiveness. I can’t say I’ve noticed a fantastic level of difference with them enabled. I would probably recommend this Tv to a friend, but any recommendation would have to come with a big warning about iPlayer.

The supplier has advised for the Samsung 43 Inch QE43QN70HAUXXU Smart 4K UHD HDR Neo QLED TV: The satellite (SAT IN) connection is located on the rear connection panel of the TV. When viewing the TV from the front, the ports are positioned on the right-hand side of the rear casing, allowing cable access from the side/rear of the unit.
We would recommend allowing sufficient cable length for installation and routing based on the TV's final position and any wall-mount setup.

Samsung TVs currently support live TV through their built-in TV tuner and streaming services, but freely is not integrated into this model.
If you wish to watch Freeview channels through the TV's tuner, they will need to connect a TV aerial and complete a channel scan.
Alternatively, the TV can access a wide range of streaming services via an internet connection, including Samsung TV Plus and other catch-up applications.
