Bought the full tower set.. they are classy.. as I have wrote on another another review about the canisters just make sure you dry them after cleaning/wiping ors they can go rusty over time.. but should last years if you keep them dry :)

The supplier has advised for the Tower Empire Stainless Steel Roll Top Bread Bin: The Empire Roll Top Bread Bin does have a flat surface on top, so you can place lightweight items such as tea, coffee and sugar containers on it. However, we would recommend avoiding placing anything particularly heavy on top, as the bread bin has a roll-top lid which needs to remain free to open and close correctly.
