Easy to set up and use to become your own barista

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a regular bean to cup coffee drinker I was excited to receive the Ninja AutoBarista Automatic Espresso Machine to review. We have been using for approximately 10 days now and find the machine very easy to use once set up and the grind iq complete. Simply switch on, press the button from the 10 one-touch drink programme then enjoy. Making a latte is super easy; put milk in the jug to the measure line, press the latte button and wait. The Ninja will grind your coffee, switch to steaming & frothing your milk & then brew the coffee into your cup. That’s it. Done. You can even choose how much froth you’d like. Drinks include: Americano, Cappuccino, Cold Brew, Cold-Pressed, Filter Coffee, Espresso, Flat White, Hot Water, Latte & Over Ice. We mainly use the espresso, latte & cold brew. Different user profiles mean that my husband can enjoy a stronger espresso whilst I prefer a weaker latte. We tried a few brew strength and froth combinations first before setting the user profiles and easily switch between the two for great guess work free coffee. Although it took us a while to achieve our preferred espresso crema. Setup was straightforward, and the initial Grind IQ function whilst uses a lot of beans means the machine automatically calibrates itself to get the best from your chosen beans. Really easy to use with lots of choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed testing the Ninja AutoBarista. It’s incredibly easy to use and I love the variety of drinks available. Whether I fancy a latte, cappuccino, americano or something different, there are so many options to choose from. It’s also really easy to clean, which is a big plus for a coffee machine that gets used regularly. Once you’ve got everything set up, making your favourite coffee is quick and simple. The only thing I found slightly frustrating was when changing coffee beans. You need to run the Grind IQ calibration again, and this can use quite a lot of beans during the process. It’s worth doing to get the best results from the new beans, but it would be great if there was a way to minimise the amount of coffee used during calibration. Overall, I’ve loved using the Ninja AutoBarista. It makes having a wide range of coffees at home really easy, and I’ve enjoyed trying out all the different drink options. It’s definitely a machine I would recommend.

Great coffee every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for nearly 2 weeks now. It really is a great machine overall, my kitchen smells of coffee even when not in use, it’s great! I’ve tried every function, it makes a great coffee everytime, which ever pre set coffee you desire.The iced coffees are also really easy to make. You can make a hot drink and then a cold straight after, no issues, no fuss, it really is more intelligent than me! The froth side is great, I use semi-skimmed milk and it creates a great froth like full fat milk would. You can even make a cup of tea, so no need to boil the kettle if you are making multiple drinks, this is because it also has a hot water only button and it comes out as hot as if you’d used the kettle, this really is an all seeing all dancing machine! No need to wait for boiling or preheating it is pretty instant hot water. The drip tray is the length of the machine, it tells you when to empty and is easy to do, but you need to be close to the sink as it’s heavy when full. It’s really easy to clean, it does a rinse everytime you turn on and turn off. When you’ve used the milk frother it purges so no milk is left inside to go sour. The set up was relatively easy, I struggled with inserting the filter into the water dispenser, only because I was searching the box for a random part I couldn’t find that was shown in the picture illustration. Never did find it, it wasn’t listed in the items included, therefore must’ve been an erroneous drawing as the filter fits perfectly well. I did find a few things I wasn’t fully happy with, but they don’t affect the coffee experience itself. The Grind IQ for beans is a fabulous idea, it takes the guess work out of making a great drink, it tells you when it needs calibrating, usually when the bean hopper is empty, my issue is it uses a lot of the beans to calibrate, more than I would have expected. The hot water function tasted of plastic for ages, even though I kept running water through it, but the coffee side didn’t which was strange. The coffee comes out really slowly and isn’t a steady stream which you would expect and if you want to make the drink larger, weaker or stronger there are ways to do that apparently but I haven’t managed to be able to do that, I can’t work out how to do it, I’ve followed the instructions but still it doesn’t do it. You also need to check when you go from beans to ground coffee, if you press ground, then choose the drink preset it automatically goes back to beans. You need to choose your drink choice then press ground. The electronic panel that tells you to add water, beans etc is only a few characters long, so isn’t always clear with instructions. The machine only comes with 1 filter, no spare, I have looked them up and are quite expensive to replace. I would’ve expected at least a spare in the box. I was also surprised there wasn’t any ‘extras’ with it like a sample of coffee or a couple of espresso cups or a cocoa shaker for finishing off drinks. I understand coffee has a shelf life but could be added at point of sale? Just a thought, as most machines these days do come with a starter pack as an incentive. Overall it’s a great machine and will be a staple in my kitchen for years to come. If you love coffee, you’ll love this machine.

Not a good coffee machine

Do not buy this coffee machine. It is not worth the money. Extraction is always terrible even after using the grind IQ, and the grind IQ uses A LOT of your beans that then go to waste. Even setting milk froth setting temperature as high, it is still always luke warm at best.

Coffee addicts dream machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So honestly I thought where on earth am I going to put that ! The box was huge and very heavy however once I’d followed the instructions to take the outer box off I was feeling happier about the contents so don’t be put off by the size of the box it’s just v well packed As for the look of it first impression was wowzers . my inner barista was dying to get started to see whether it lived up to my favourite cappuccino First though I did take the time to a-quaint myself to the instructions and I needn’t have worried as a simple scan of the qr code on the front of machine made it very simple to follow my only hiccup was setting the water hardness a step that I needed to refer back to in instruction manual but it didn’t prevent my from calibrating machine the first time top tip is take a picture of the beans you bought as if you going to swap each time it needs filling then it advises u run the calibration again so u do obviously use quite a bit of coffee beans but for the first time I didn’t mind and so on to the cappuccino I made I used the preset option firstly so I could compare if I was happy with that or go with the option to tweak the preset honestly I would not change it I was really impressed. I used the frother as per simple instructions and then a latte was made Yes it was a bit noisy but it was grinding coffee beans! Absolutely love it and has the option to make two at once too so no waiting if your bestie wants the same order the kitchen also benefitted from the smell of freshly brewed coffee after I decided to stop there it did its rinse cycle and a quick wipe down and it’s done . I haven’t tried it with the ground coffee yet as I was a bit more interested in using beans first so I’ll give that a go next time. Overall very impressed can’t wait to try out some more but need a few more visitors to offer a coffee to. It’s a solid piece of kit and it’s looks great in the kitchen too

Fabulous Coffee, Every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja AutoBarista is, as a coffee snob, the perfect machine. It's so easy to use and even cleans itself! It produces a whole menu of drinks that are delicious and genuinely café quality. I love how you can personalise 2 profiles to allow me to adjust the strength, size and milk settings exactly how I like them. The milk frothing is excellent, the drinks are consistently great, and the maintenance couldn't be easier thanks to the self-cleaning programmes. Also looks fabulous in the kitchen!

Caffeine AND Decaffeinated coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using caffeine beans in the hopper ontop and decaffeinated ground coffee which go inside in front of the hopper. It's great as I can pick which type of coffee I feel like depending on the time of day. It's a professional looking machine but actually very simple to use . I'm a fan of oat milk and you even have the option of plant based or dairy when using the milk froth. The milk can be warmed or cold and no messing about holding the jug! It sits neatly and has a motor that spins it underneath so no chaperoning this machine! The jug just lift straight off for easy cleaning too. I like the feature of being able to customise the drinks to my preference, I like adding extra hot water if I've used an oversized mug. A great feature is how the words appear on the screen, for example telling you to add ice or top up the water reservoir. The icons have words as well as pictures making it very clear. On set up I followed the online unboxing assistant and paper manual which actually suggested rinsing the machine cycle and water hardness test strip in different orders, I then decided to just follow what the actual machine display was telling me which was very simple to follow. I haven't made hot chocolate yet due to the weather but can definitely see me using the machine every evening for that in winter with the amazing frother! If you want a solid good looking machine that will offer you multiple drinks simple to use and look good on your counter then this is the one! I'm even hosting a coffee morning at home tomorrow now I am a home barista! 😁

Absolutely fantastic machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja AutoBarista Automatic Espresso Machine combines automatic grinding, dosing and brewing with a range of coffee options, making it easy to enjoy everything from a strong espresso to a creamy latte or cappuccino. One of the biggest advantages is how simple it is to use. The machine has a a dosing system for your coffee beans that you are using! Along with a coffee bean display where you can pick how strong you would like your coffee. Many different options of coffee to pick from and also a milk foam for the starts of your hot chocolate. Build quality is another positive. The machine feels premium and well made, and it’s size means it fits perfectly on the kitchen counter. The machine is very easy to clean and has a simple tray on the bottom for excess water and where your coffee that has been brewed ends up, simply take out and pop in the bin. We have had this a few days and we are amazed at how amazing this little machine is, there simply is nothing better than a barista style coffee on a morning! It does not take long at all to heat up and the consistency of the coffee at the end is fantastic! We have recommended this highly to our family members who are now looking at purchasing one. Easy to use and easy to set up with the guide, i honestly cannot fault this machine!

Fantastic and great features

Have also found that the ground coffee i use comea oit smoother using this machine compared to my old one and am enjoying that i can make more types of coffee the frothing part is something i have to get used to but is excellent and is a nice feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only ever had pod coffee machines, and more recently a machine with a milk wand, which took quite a bit of concentration to get a really good froth. The Ninja AutoBarista has completely taken the stress out of making a great coffee! It was really easy to set up, looks and feels like a quality machine, and looks great on the countertop. It’s also wonderfully uncomplicated to use. Being bean-to-cup means you get freshly ground coffee every time, and there’s no measuring or guesswork involved to get the perfect coffee. The ability to personalise your drink means you can make it exactly how you like it, and the result is a consistently delicious coffee with very little effort. I also love not having to use coffee pods. There’s no pile of used pods to throw away after every coffee, which feels like a much more environmentally friendly way to enjoy my coffee. You can also steam or froth milk without making coffee, which is perfect for my husband who doesn’t drink coffee. He can now enjoy a lovely hot chocolate with beautifully frothed milk too. It’s not quite as instant as a pod machine, as the Ninja grinds the beans for each cup, filters the coffee and froths the milk. But a really good cup of coffee is definitely worth waiting a little longer for! Overall, I’m really impressed. It looks great, is easy to use and makes delicious coffee without all the fuss. It’s definitely taken the stress out of making a really good coffee at home! ☕️
