About this product
The Creative Pebble v1 brings sleek, space-saving audio to your desk with a 2.0 speaker system that's designed for hassle-free music and media playback whilst you work or study. These compact USB-powered speakers feature a 45-degree elevated sound stage that projects audio up towards your ears rather than straight across your desk, which makes a noticeable difference to clarity and presence. Powered by a single USB cable that handles both power and audio, there's no need for separate adaptors or multiple wires cluttering your workspace, and setup is genuinely plug-and-play.
At 4.4W total output across the pair, they deliver detailed sound with surprising depth for something so small, thanks to built-in passive radiators that enhance bass performance without needing a separate subwoofer. The angled design and balanced audio make them ideal for desktop listening whether you're streaming music, watching videos, or on calls, and they're iPod compatible if you still use one. Everything connects via USB, installation takes seconds, and you get a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Affordable compact speakers with good sound
Purchased as I discovered my new pc had no inbuilt speakers. Small enough to go on desk and sound quality is fine for my needs after a little tweaking with the settings - streaming TV and film, some podcasts. Took me a few goes to get them active as the guidance was that they were to go into a specific matching coloured port on my CPU. Turns out, sometimes, the colours don't match up! A fair price for basic speakers. Can't say if they would suit someone who needs them for powerful music listening, but perfect for home computing needs. Small gripe is the always on green LED on the front of one of the speakers when they are on, but my mouse, CPU and keyboard all have annoying lights too, which can be quite distracting when watching a movie. Would be great if all devices had the option to turn lights off even when in use.

Didn't work with my Asus laptop
Although these are marketed as plug in speakers, they did not work with my Asus laptop. The sound system was unable to recognise them. They did produce a sound when designated Headphones by the sound system, but then produced a constant high and low beeping. I exchanged several emails with Creative Pebble support, but could not fix the problem so had to return them. Very disappointing.

Punching Above Their Weight — Just About
These little speakers pack a surprising punch for their size and price point. The design is genuinely attractive — clean, compact, and easy on the eye — and they’d complement most desktop setups nicely. The minimalist aesthetic is slightly undermined by the tangle of cables required for the non-Bluetooth version, but they still look smart enough on a desk. Sound quality is a clear step up from built-in monitor or laptop speakers, so if that’s your baseline, you’ll likely be impressed. Just don’t expect miracles at this size and price — there are limits. Personally, I ended up swapping them out for a Creative SoundBar, which takes up less desk space, sounds noticeably better, and costs around the same. For me it was the smarter buy — but if you’re after a budget desktop speaker upgrade with decent aesthetics, the Pebbles are worth considering.

Flexible and good sound
Used it at family party with the usb plugged into ordinary wall socket with adaptor and mobile phone as source.Great sound. Sufficient volume for that intimate setting. I like the easy adjustable manual volume knob. And a doddle to set up. Used them with pc. A real treat for the ears after the poor pc sound. Good value

Decent budget desktop speakers
These aren't going to win any awards for sound quality but are fairly priced. The sound is fine, fairly decent bass response and volume for the size but they do lack a lot of clarity. The speakers themselves are a bit of a clunky shape, they're quite light and round so it's easy for them to move or tip over especially with the mess of wires they come with. The speaker cones can get quite dusty over time due to the speaker cones facing up without any dust covers. If the units were a bit sturdier/heavier these would be a really compelling budget option. However for only £18, you're not going to get much better at this price point and work fine for everyday use. 3/5

Perfect pair of speakers
I bought these two weeks ago and they are perfect for my home use and zoom calls. Clear and plenty of volume and they look good. Very use to set up. I’m happy I got them.

Hello There.
Creative Pebble v1 Modern 2.0 USB Desktop Speakers:
Yes, these can be used with most electronic drum kits, as long as your drum module has a 3.5 mm headphone output.
Thank you for using Q & A
Hello Benji,
The supplier has advised the following for the Creative Pebble v1 Modern 2.0 USB Desktop Speakers:
“While it is possible to use Pebble with Samsung TVs, it will be over 3.5mm aux in.We generally do not advocate using Bluetooth speakers with tvs as they result in poor audio-video sync (eg. Speech or sound effects lagging behind the video.)”
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hi
Creative Pebble v1 Modern 2.0 USB Desktop Speakers
Yes, you can use the Creative Pebble v1 speakers with an Xbox console, but not by plugging them directly into the console. The Xbox console itself does not have a 3.5mm audio out port and its USB ports provide power only, not audio, for general speakers.
You can connect them through an external source that the Xbox is already connected to, such as a compatible TV or monitor.
Connection Methods
Here are the ways you can set it up:
Through your TV or Monitor's Headphone Jack (Recommended):
Ensure your TV or monitor has a 3.5mm audio output (headphone jack).
Plug the USB cable of the Creative Pebble speakers into an available USB port on the TV/monitor for power. If the TV doesn't have a USB port, you can use a separate USB wall adapter for power.
Plug the 3.5mm audio jack from the speakers into the TV/monitor's headphone jack. The audio from the Xbox (which is connected to the TV/monitor via HDMI) will then play through the speakers.
Through the Xbox Controller (Wired Connection):
Plug the USB cable of the speakers into a USB port on the Xbox console or a USB wall adapter for power.
Plug the 3.5mm audio jack of the speakers into the 3.5mm jack on your Xbox wireless controller.
This method means you will be tethered to the console or power source by the length of the speaker cables while using the controller.
Using an HDMI Audio Extractor (Advanced Option):
If your TV/monitor does not have a 3.5mm jack, you can purchase an inline HDMI audio extractor. This device splits the audio signal from the HDMI cable into separate audio outputs (like 3.5mm or optical).
The USB connection on the Creative Pebble v1 is solely for power, not for transferring audio data from the Xbox console directly.
Thank you for using Q and A
Hello Jackie,
I can advise the following for the Creative Pebble v1 Modern 2.0 USB Desktop Speakers:
Is compatible with a CD player, provided it has a 3.5mm audio jack (headphone jack) or a compatible RCA line-out
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello Makko,
The supplier has advised the following for the Creative Pebble v1 Modern 2.0 USB Desktop Speakers:
"If the customer is looking to set up a digital piano with the Creative Pebble, it is not possible. The USB cable's purpose is only to power the unit.
For audio, the Pebble has a 3.5mm aux-in cable. However, we cannot guarantee that the aux-in cable will work with the piano, if it has the available port."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Jek,
I can confirm that this will depend on the turntables output, these speakers connect using either USB or audio jack.
Thank you for using Q&A
Yes if the tablet has an aux port, and you will have to use another usb power adapter to power the speakers.
