Customers Say
Compact, easy-to-assemble mini greenhouse ideal for small gardens. Sturdy cover and good shelf space, but needs anchoring due to wind sensitivity. Great value for money and well-liked for seed starting and plant protection.

Small gardens
This is perfect for small gardens, it seems sturdy enough and the two shelves have enough space for many small plant pots. But it doesn't come with the ground fixing pegs as noted in the description.

Good economical greenhouse
Easy to assemble, either needs to be tied to something secure or weigh ut town with plants as it will fly away otherwise. You get what you pay for

Very easy to assemble, it's sturdy, mesh shelving so good drainage, 2 zips for ventilation, good protection against winds. Would recommend for a small garden.

Nice compact mini greenhouse
A well made compact mini greenhouse that is excellent for a small garden. Has usefulness as a cold frame/growing centre. Easily built and fair stability. Good price.

OK for what I needed it for.
Not the best buy only 2 shelves which I didn't mind but one right at the bottom would of preferred it higher up , very flimsy the first greenhouse I had to take back as the tube broke replaced it and this one fine , plastic covering was the only good part about it, ok if you just starting out doesn't fit much in .

Two shelf greenhouse
Great little greenhouse cover is quite thick so will last zips are a bit stiff to pull up & down so much the runners bent easy so slow to zip up & down as to keep them straight.

Great so far!
I bought this when it was reduced and I'm happy so far. The plastic greenhouses can suffer in bad weather but because this is smaller it seems ok so far in winds. Even though there are only 2 shelves they are a decent size and I can fit in more than I thought. Easy to assemble. The outside plastic feels quite sturdy. Happy so far!

Mini Greenhouse
Useful size - plenty of capacity, very straightforward to put up. More stable than some taller models (we live in a windy location). Very pleased and excellent value.

Hello Em,
I can advise the following for the McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse:
37cm between the bottom and top shelf.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello There,
McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse:
The shelves are in a fixed position. We would not recommend taking any shelf out as this will affect the stability of the overall structure of the product.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Gloworm,
The McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse should not be relied upon to protect plants from extreme weather.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Charlie,
The supplier has advised the McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse can be used indoors.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
I imagine so although I think it performs best outside like a greenhouse.
Hi Anonymous,
Yes, if it's cold you can add sheets of bubblewrap or some recycled expanded polystyrene packaging to the bottom shelf, to stop the temp. dropping too low when it's frosty.
Thank you for contacting Q&A
It only provides limited frost protection but you could cover the plants with horticultural fleece or newspaper to add a bit more, which might be enough depending on where you live. Personally I wouldnt risk anything precious.
As its plastic I wouldnt like to add any artificial heat.
honestly couldn't give a definite answer as mine would be empty all winter but I'm sure it would offer some protection from frost.
Hello Mo,
The McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse shelves are not adjustable.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
But it would take the weight !
Hi Lorraine
We would not recommend taking the top shelf out as this will affect the stability of the overall structure of the product

Hi Chriss,
The dimensions of the McGregor 2 Tier Mini Greenhouse are H90, W70, D50cm. It would depend on the size of your growbag.
Thank you for using Q&A
The greenhouse is 700mm wide so it would depend on the width of your growbag.
Unfortunately mine does not have any ties at all to keep the rolled up front actually tied up. The product looked like it had been returned previously when I opened it with parts opened and the box shabbily taped . Will I have to dismantle the whole thing and take it back ?
Hi,
I can confirm there is a zip either side to close/open the door and also a green strip which can be attached to hold the flap open.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
The plastic door has 2 zips
1 either side of the panel
which you can unzip easily
then you can roll the door up
then you will have 2 green ties at the top of the door which after rolling up you can tie to hold the rolled up door open.
Hi Baz
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know the metal poles are 16mm in diameter
