Needed a SIM card
Good service, I could not remember if I used the Argos app or web browser on my phone at home using WiFi but I used click and collect, after an hour I popped into my local Argos with an email of my order. Was very quick and easy, made my purchase, waited for my number to come up and got the SIM card. Staff were very nice as had a little chat with them. I always like Argos as staff are friendly. It’s been a few months now and still using the SIM card. I think it’s taken approximately less than 5 minutes to sort it out and do a top up.

This will depend on if you pay for a bundle or not. Also after 6 months the number will be released and you will need to activate the SIM again, gaining a different number in the process.

You can use a Three Unlimited Pay As You Go SIM for internet-only by getting a "Data Only" SIM, which is designed for devices like tablets or mobile broadband hubs and includes a data-only pack. However, the price of these plans would need to be discussed with Three.

From the information we have available I can confirm this Three Unlimited New Pay As You Go SIM can be used in a portable SIM 4g router. Most of the new TP-Link 4g routers use a 3/4g plug in dongle.
For example: TL-MR3020 Portable 3G/4G Wireless N Router and TL-MR3420 3G/4G Wireless N Router
