Absolutely perfect. The wood is solid and heavy so no worries about it falling over the knives are solid to no chance of them breaking like you get with the separate handle from knife if taken care of. I believe this set will last a lifetime. It is definitely the best thing I have bought for a long long time. Value for money looks good and the knife is super sharp. Thank you.

I absolutely love these knives - l didn’t realise how bad my ‘old’ knives were at cutting ! I like the fact that there aren’t any joins & appear to be made all in one piece and easy to clean. The knives fit nicely into the block as well

Sleek and sharp!
Bought this a few weeks ago and so far loving it. The knives are very sharp which I had been worried about but fantastic functionality and the actual block looks really sleek and doesn't take up too much counter space. Love it!

One knife was missing…
Was pleased with this knife block, worth the money, but shocked one knife was missing..was going to return it but needed to put this in our holiday rental, so just put a pair of scissors in the missing slot, therefore only four stars given……🙁

These knives passed the dishwasher safe testing with 25 cycles, but it is suggested that the stainless steel knives should be hand washed.

Just wash it with dishwasher, after dried no marks can be seen on the steel.

I can advise that the Argos Home 5 Piece Stainless Steel Knife Block Set contains 5 stainless steel knives for differing purposes - bread knife, paring knife, carving knife, chef's knife and utility knife. They are all sharp relative to the function for which they are intended. All knives will blunt with use and time and how long is long enough will depend on the user.
