Very happy with purchase,looks lovely but a little bit fiddly to put up,the hanging bit is very close to bulb and was tricky to fit my hand through to put bulb back,but I am happy how lovely that looks(I got 2)

I couldn’t get the ring with the pendants inside the rim of the shade. Also I realised if I needed to replace the light bulb I’d need to take it apart. No problems returning it to Argos

Pretty drop beaded shade
This is the 3rd one of the same shade. It looks more expensive than it it. It is very easy to fit and with the beads,as they are all attached to a holder,all you do to fit, is aim them at an angle or tilt and once the whole hanger is inside the shade,just pulled gently to the bottom of shade rim. They cast a lovely shadow of the beads when the light is on.

The supplier has advised the following for the Fil Suede & Beaded Silver Foil Shade:
You push the bead frame up into the shade at a slight angle, so one side first, until the whole frame is inside the shade. Then, once in, pull the whole frame down gently until it rests on the bottom inside edge of the shade.

No it’s only for ceiling light, I guess if you took the jewels part away(attached to metal rings and join in middle with a flat part) completely then it would but that’s the whole point really. It’s still a nice design on the sides with out the jewel part though

Thanks for your query about the Fil Suede & Beaded Silver Foil Shade.
As this is designed to hang from the ceiling, it would not be able to function as a table lamp shade. The hanging parts would hinder the bulb and the point of attachment to the stand, plus it is somewhat large in relation to the average table lampshade.
In my opinion no because there is a big metal circle plate right where the pole would go for the base. Unless it was one of those drop and hang lights then maybe if there was enough room on the side or you could somehow screw a big whole through the plate big enough to get the bulb holder through etc xxx

Its a little fiddly . I find that once screwed on to light fitting put the bulb in from the top as you will have more room. Or you can lift and turn the bottom part the beads are on to the side then when done put bead part back into place
yes you can gain access to fit the bulb in the normal way
