Works surprisingly well.

Hello Paul,
The supplier has advised the following for the TP-Link Archer MR200 AC750 Dual Band 4G LTE SIM Wi-Fi Router:
Yes, the current stock of TP-Link Archer MR200 supports Nano sim cards for now, and your Smarty SIM will work into this slot as the SIM provider provides different size adapters for them to fit in any smart phone or router devices.

Hi Bob,
The TL-MR400 router is designed to accept SIM cards from various mobile network providers, not just a specific brand. Please note that This router supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Mo,
The supplier has advised the following for the TP-Link AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 4G Router:
"The TP-Link Archer MR200 is a 4G LTE router designed to function independently by inserting a SIM card directly into its built-in slot, allowing it to establish and share a 4G internet connection. Similarly, the ZTE MF286D is another 4G LTE router with its own SIM card slot, enabling it to operate as a standalone device for internet connectivity.ā If you're considering using the Archer MR200 in conjunction with the ZTE MF286D, it's important to note that the MR200 does not support bridge mode, which would allow it to function solely as a modem. This limitation means that integrating the two devices to work together in a typical bridge setup isn't feasible."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi,
Yes, you can wired the TP router direct to your EE router via ethernet.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
To select the right SIM card for your router, consider the following:
1) Compatibility: Check with your ISP about supported network types and bands for your SIM card in your area, then verify the specifications of the 3/4/5G modem router on the TP-Link website.
Note: The supported network type cannot be changed via firmware update.
2) SIM Card Size: The latest models generally use a Nano SIM slot, while older versions may have a Micro SIM slot. Devices with a Micro SIM or Standard SIM slot usually come with a SIM card adapter and sticker for conversion.
3) SIM card type: A 5G router can accept a 4G SIM card (backward compatible), while a 4G router may work with a 5G SIM card but only operate at 4G speeds and capabilities. It is recommended to choose the appropriate SIM card accordingly.
3. Installing a SIM Card in a 3/4/5G modem router
The process for installing a SIM card in a 4G LTE router is generally straightforward. For detailed instructions, please refer to: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3196/...
