About this product
If you feel unsteady or need something solid to lean on around the house, this walking frame provides reassuring stability. The U-shaped design lets you get closer to surfaces like tables or sinks, and each side works independently so you can manoeuvre through doorways and tight spaces without getting stuck. Made from lightweight aluminium, it is easy to move, and when you need to store it or pop it in the car, the folding mechanism works with a simple push-button you can operate with your fingers, palms or the side of your hand.
The height adjusts to suit your comfort level. The contoured vinyl handgrips sit comfortably in your hands during use. Sturdy ferrules on the legs give you better grip and stability on the floor. It folds flat for storage or transport with easy push-button operation. This frame is light enough to lift or carry when needed, and it comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Hi Elaine
The Drive Devilbiss Height Adjustable Folding Walking Frame has been designed to be lifted and moved to aid walking and provide additional stability. If wheels were added that stability would be removed and the risk of falls potentially increased.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
I don’t think so fantastic frame could not have managed without it when returned from hospital and so covenant that it folds
Hi Blue,
Yes, this can be used for outside walking.

Yes it’s very stable I was unable to put any weight on one leg after major surgery so this was a great help in doors and out side
Hi Pappa,
Here are tips to measure for a walker:
- Start by standing up straight with your shoes on
- Allow your hands to hang naturally at your sides
- Measure from the crease in your wrist to the floor
- This length should be your handle height
The height of this walker adjusts from 81cm to 99cm so if the measurement from the floor to your grampa's wrist is between these measurements then this walker should be suitable.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Hi Waggy,
