About this product
If you need a little extra support getting clean but staying steady in the bath feels tricky, this adjustable seat sits securely across your tub so you can wash with confidence. The contoured surface keeps you comfortable while you sit, and the drainage holes stop water pooling underneath - no slipping or sliding around. It has a built-in soap holder within reach, so everything you need stays close. The adjustable feet grip the sides of your bath, and you can fit or remove the whole thing in seconds without any tools.
The corrosion-proof frame stands up to daily bathroom moisture and wipes clean between uses. The adjustable design means it fits a wide range of bath shapes and sizes - the feet expand or tighten to suit your tub. No tools are needed for assembly or removal, so you can set it up or take it down whenever you like. This seat supports users reliably and stays light enough to lift and reposition easily. It is suitable for bath use where you need seated support for washing.

Bath Seat from Argos
My husband can no longer stand in the shower, but has difficulty getting in and out of the bath. A friend and her husband have carers which use these bath seats. I got one from Argos, delivered to my nearby Sainsburys free, for me to collect. It's robust and is adjustable to fit across the bath securely. It works well because I shower him; but if someone wants to shower themselves, you can't put down the rigid arm along the bath top, to fit the shower panel, so you can't have the screen closed, Would be a bit better with a shower curtain. But the seat is firm and we felt very confident using it. Susan

Well made, easy to use
Pricey but very sturdy, easy to assemble and clean. Thought it might splash over the sides but hasn't.

Great safe shower seat
It is very sturdy and safe. I can easily move it about the bath. The side rail helps me stand. It does not hold water, drainage is good. I feel very safe having a shower with this easy to sit on and stand from.

Bath seat.
Needed the seat after my wife broke her leg. Made her showers so much easier. No doubt it will see more use as we get older.

Hello Mamight.
Bath Seat Board - Adjustable:
The board is reversible, so you can install it with the handle against the wall or facing outward, depending on what feels safest and most comfortable for you.
Thank you for using Q & A.

I think the response is in reference to a bath lift, this isnt a bath lift, it is a bath board. You fit it to the bath, handle against the wall. Then sit on the edge of the bath where the board is, then turn your body lifting your legs over the side one at a time. Then do the reverse to get out.
Hello Benny,
The supplier has advised the following for the Bath Seat Board - Adjustable:
“ This bath lift is to help you in the bath and to come up to a leave of the bath. When you are leave with the top of the bath swing yourself around and it should make it easier. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Funnygirl,
The Bath Seat Board - Adjustable weighs approximately 1.3kg.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi,
There are just two screws that are fitted through the board into the handle and can be easily removed if necessary.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
Very easily though it makes it easier to pick up when its wet. All of the fittings are plastic
Hi,
I can confirm this can face the wall as it is the same both sides. The handle can also face inwards or outwards.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
We had ours with the handle on the wall side it is the only way you can sit then slode along to position yourself in the middle
Hi Cheryl. If using a shower curtain with the seat. The curtain would need to go either outside of the bath or rest on top of the seat and then drape back into the bath. Consult your healthcare professional for advice about using the product safely and transferring to and from the bath.
I suppose it depends where your shower head is in relation to the curtain and seat.
It was ok with us as seat was opposite end to shower head so the bathroom was kept dry.
Good sturdy seat, i reccomend it

Thank you for using Argos Q and A.
Hi, we don't have a roll top bath ourselves. The adjustable feet are made of rubber so would probably grip a rounded surface. I think though, that it is probably more suitable for a flat surface.
The problem we found with it, was how to keep the water in the bath when using the shower, as the water ran off the end onto the floor even when we draped the shower curtain over it. It now gets used as a handy shelf at the far end of the bath. Hope this helps.
I’m sorry I’ve no idea ,perhaps if you measure the width of your bath it might give you a better idea if it would work for you
