Good Iron for the Price
Only just started using the iron and so far it seems ok. Heats up quickly and has a good amount of steam. Seemed to be slightly sticking on a couple of items but just needed to turn the heat down slightly as it has a better temperature than my old iron. Only slight negative, is the little cover for where the water is added can be temperamental and doesn't like to close up.

Bought this iron on 4th July used it the next day the steam function worked as expected,glided effortlessly over the clothes and is light weight . We are hoping it will give us as good a service as our last Russell Hobbs iron which lasted has 10 years.

I bought this iron a couple of weeks ago and I'm glad I did. It is lightweight and simple to use but does the job very effectively. It doesn't take long to heat up and it glides over the material easily. I use the steam facility most of the time and it is very efficient and my ironing was done in quite a short time. It is a really good iron for the price!

Hi, I have one of these irons. It lacks auto shut off which is a major issue as Im getting on a bit and can be a little forgetful. The 2m power cord is too short. Also the dial is a bit awkward to work out which way to turn as its difficult to see where to line the dots up with.

Yes, this iron can be used as a dry iron.
As per user manual:
DRY IRONING
1. If you’re going to be dry ironing for 20 minutes or more, empty the reservoir first to avoid
spontaneous bursts of steam.
2. Set the steam control to S.
3. Set the desired temperature.
4. Wait till the light goes out, then start ironing.

Yes, you can use tap water. If you live in a hard water area I would recommend you use the self-clean function after each use to prolong the life of your iron.

Haven't got any decent scales but l would say about 3 lbs. It's not heavy at all l have R A and l can use it fine.
