This Jay-Be Toddler spring interior mattress is topped with a cushion of smart fibre foam free comfort layers, so the mattress is free from harmful chemicals. As well as offering extra comfort throughout the night, the smart fibre layers have an open cell structure, allowing the mattress to breathe, reducing moisture build up and helping to regulate body temperature for an even more peaceful night. Ideal for Toddlers aged 2+ years . Made in the UK.

Nice matteress
I bought this to go with the Habitat Eliis toddler bed for a 2 year old child. Fits perfectly and feels as though it would be firm but comfortable. It's not too thin either. Happy to recommend.

I brought this and very reasonable for price and easy to pick up from and take home even if no transport u can pick it up and take it home as its rolled up tightly and in a bag I would buy again and recommend

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the JAY-BE Open Coil Foam Free Toddler Mattress: ''The Open Coil Foam Free Mattress fabric is inherently fire retardant and meets all safety requirements without any need for treatment. All our mattresses are either naturally fire retardant or they are treated with a salt based solution, we do not use any chemical treatments.''

We base this on height and weight rather than age. We would recommend a maximum weight of 6 stone this would be suitable for. Above 6 stone, we recommend our children's mattresses which can take up to 15 stone.

Our toddler mattresses are all free of foam, and instead contain wool, that is naturally fire and flame resistant. Wool is more fire retardant than any other material. We use no synthetic fibres, so to ensure no chemicals are used within our products. The fire retardancy is certified by UKAS under BS EN 597-2.
