Powered internet for family of three
Bought as we moved into a new house and needed internet for working from home until broadband installed. Managed to get wifi to 2 phones, laptop, iPad and tv to stream. Good signal overall if kept upstairs at window. Would run out of battery after about half a days use but powered on straight away when plugged in. Would recommend!

Perfect
I bought this to use on holiday in Spain. The device itself is simple to use, and I’m pleased I decided to pay a little more to get a screen. The app also works well and allows you to monitor (and reset usage) as well as usage limits for each device if you need to do this. We bought a local SIM card which we had to put into a phone first to remove the pin, and then into this Mifi. It worked great, the battery lasted well and we connected and used multiple devices at once with no issue. It’s small and easy to carry with you. I would recommend keeping it inside a padded device wallet as I expect it is likely to break if you were to drop it.

Distress purchase
I bought this as a distress purchase, it was 50% cheaper than the netgear unit that never worked properly. So I was pleasantly surprised how well it served my needs on my recent trip away,,,,, so recommend highly

Good product
I have been using TP-,mifi routers for years with no complaints. Great battery life and works just about everywhere. Only negative is you can’t add a vpn to them.

Great wifi dongle!
Exactly what I needed while getting the wifi sorted at home. Good battery life, speed and connectivity. Can stand 5-6 devices on it comfortably.

Mobile WiFi
Early days, but this seems like a great product. It has replaced my land line, and I am running a phone, laptop and smart tv on it. Hasn’t let me down at all. I live alone, and I’m not into gaming, so probably not the heaviest user. It will support 10 devices, so probably not enough for a big family. Very simple to set up. Battery is adequate, but it can’t be left charging permanently. This is its biggest drawback if used at home. I have solved this problem by using segment timer which plugs into the mains and charges for 15 mins every hour, maintaining roughly 20 to 80% battery level. Brilliant on the move. Works wherever there is 3G or 4g signal. Highly recommended for internet on the move.

Hello Tim,
The TP-Link M7350 Unlocked 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi with Screen is not designed to remain plugged in 24/7, as this can damage the battery.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
The M7350 works by inserting a 4G SIM card to create your reliable personal WiFi hotspot. You can connect your other devices to the M7350's WiFi.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi,
TP-LINK 3/4/5G router doesn't support E-SIM currently.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Darren,
The M7350 can provide a normal network connection, but the actual performance is affected by many factors.
1. Signal Strength and Quality: Weak 4G signal is one of the biggest factors affecting the gaming experience. Poor signal forces the device to work harder to maintain the connection, increasing latency and causing packet loss.
2. Network Congestion: Network congestion levels vary depending on location and time.
Generally, periods with less network congestion provide a more stable connection with lower latency.
3. Carrier Network Quality: Different carriers (such as Three, EE, etc.) have different network infrastructure and capacity. Some carriers will prioritize gaming traffic better than others. The overall network load and infrastructure investment of the carrier will affect performance.
4. 4G Band Selection
• Lower bands (e.g., 800MHz) offer better coverage but may be more prone to congestion.
• Higher bands (e.g., 800MHz) offer better coverage but may be more prone to congestion. 1800MHz and 2600MHz bands offer lower latency but shorter transmission distances.
• The M7350 supports manual band selection, which helps optimize performance.
Optimal Gaming Experience Recommendations:
• Place the M7350 in the location with the strongest 4G signal (check signal strength).
• Play games during off-peak hours whenever possible.
• Minimize the connection of other devices during gameplay.
• Place the M7350 close to the PS5 and ensure unobstructed line of sight.
• If you experience issues, consider manually selecting the optimal 4G band.
• Ensure the M7350 is well-ventilated to avoid overheating.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Darren,
The supplier has advised the following for the TP-Link M7350 Unlocked 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi with Screen:
Using a mobile Wi-Fi device like the M7350 with a 4G SIM card can provide internet access for your PS5, but the quality of your online gaming experience—especially in terms of ping and latency—will depend heavily on several factors:
1. Mobile Network Signal: The strength and quality of the 4G signal in your location are crucial. In areas with strong and stable 4G coverage, you may experience relatively low latency (ping), but in areas with weak signal, latency and lag may increase significantly.
2. Network Congestion: Mobile networks can become congested, especially during peak hours or in crowded areas, which may lead to higher latency and inconsistent connection quality.
3. Carrier and Plan: Different carriers (like Three or EE) may have different network coverage and speeds in various locations. It's a good idea to check the coverage maps for your intended destinations.
4. Technology Limitations: 4G mobile networks typically have higher latency compared to fixed broadband connections. For fast-paced multiplayer gaming, a wired or high-quality fixed broadband connection is generally recommended for the best experience.
5. Device Connection: Connecting your PS5 to the M7350 via Ethernet (using a Wi-Fi to Ethernet adapter) can reduce latency compared to a wireless connection, but the primary limiting factor will still be the mobile network.
In summary, while it's possible to use the M7350 for online gaming while traveling, you may experience higher ping and occasional lag compared to a home wired connection. The actual experience will vary depending on your location and the quality of the mobile network at the time.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello Suzy.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for TP-Link M7350 Unlocked 4G Portable Travel Wi-Fi with Screen.
To clarify, the TP-Link M7350 (like other Mobile Wi-Fi/MiFi routers) uses a mobile data SIM card to provide internet access. You do need to insert an active SIM card with a data plan into the device, even if you do not intend to make phone calls. The device does not create its own internet connection; it relies on the mobile network provided by the SIM card to share internet via Wi-Fi with your devices (laptop, TV, etc.).
Simply insert the SIM card into the M7350, and once it is powered on and connected to the mobile network, your laptop and TV can join the Wi-Fi network it creates to access the internet.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi,
