Bought this as was going to make a seafood dish, cooked with rice. Was perfect. Absolutely marvellous. And was able to put straight onto the table, so our guests were able to help themselves. Must say, the big pan looked so good, in the centre of the table. Straight from the hob to the table. The pan is big, and placed it over a couple of rings on my hob.. Easy to clean. Great designed and good looking pan.

Perfect paella pan.
Excellent pan, ideal for authentic paella. Easy to attain the "socarrat" crispy bottom so beloved of Spaniards. You do need a wide hot ring to ensure an even distribution of heat, Failing that it just fits in a standard oven or works well on a barbecue.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the 40cm Non Stick Carbon Steel Paella Pan: ''This pan is not suitable for camp fire use as the flame and heat is extremely hard to control and this item needs to be used on a low heat. The customer would be better off uncoated plain steel or enamel cookware.''

I would disagree with it being dishwasher safe mine went into the dishwasher and the non stick peeled off had to bin it as no one wants non stick bits of coating in the food. Saying that good value for money and was pleased with it prior to it going into dishwasher. I'll probably purchase a replacement just won't put it in dishwasher this time
