Lift away container great but vacuum is very heavy
Love the way you can lift off the container to do stairs etc. much easier to use. BUT it is incredibly heavy to push on the carpet almost too heavy for me I’m afraid.

Excellent cleaning power
A strong suction vacuum which is easy to manoeuvre throughout the house on both carpeted and hardwood floors. Picks a lot more dust than my previous cordless vacuum cleaner and sucks up dust at the very edge of the room, eliminating the need to clean the edge using a separate attachment afterwards.

Great! But one annoying feature
I was replacing my Shark NV601UK and this looked a like-for-like in terms of power, size etc. I'm really happy with it. It's smaller/lighter than my previous Shark which is fine by me, there's just one REALLY annoying design feature on this one... The cord wraps on the right. It's made for lefties. It drives me crazy every time I use it hence the 4 stars. Cant fault anything else.

The great hair pick-up
As a wheelchair user with pets, I bought this vacuum needing something that could tackle pet hair without being impossible to handle from a seated position. After using the Shark Classic NV602UKT, here is my honest feedback on how it works for my specific requirements. The suction power is genuinely impressive. It pulls up embedded pet hair instantly without needing multiple passes, which saves me time and energy.However, using it as a standard upright on carpets takes a lot of upper-body effort because the heavy suction makes it resist being pushed from a seated angle. Luckily, sliding open the suction release valve on the handle makes it much easier on my shoulders. The best part of this machine is the Lift-Away feature. Being able to unclip the central pod and rest it on my lap is a real positive . It takes away the weight of the full machine, allowing me to sit comfortably and use the wand to reach across furniture, under low tables, and clean up the pet hair without straining my back or abdomen. Pros * Lap-Friendly: The Lift-Away pod is compact enough to rest on my lap while I use the hose and attachments. * Easy-Empty Bin: I can roll right up to my kitchen bin and drop the dirt out of the bottom with one click, which is great for hand dexterity. ( tip, throw in some laundry sent boosters into the empty pod before using it again it helps deodorise those pet smells) * Headlights: The LED lights on the floor nozzle are excellent for spotting stray fur from a lower, seated view. Cons * Stiff Hose: The stretch hose has a lot of tension. If I try to pull it too far while the vacuum is standing upright, it can easily tip the whole machine over toward my chair. * Cord Handling: Juggling the long power cable while steering my wheels takes some coordination so I don't run over it. Overall, it's a very powerful vacuum for us pet owners. If you are a wheelchair user, you will likely need to rely on the Lift-Away mode to get the most out of it, but it does a fantastic job of getting the floors clean. the Lift-Away feature is what makes it work for me.

I’ve always had Dyson pet hoovers for a lot of years. But the last one I bought was exactly the same as the one before I’d been happy with. No problem till my sister in law used it & broke it. It would have cost nearly as much to repair as buying a new one. From day one I just wasn’t happy with the second one even though it was the same. After approx 2 years it needed a new head Which cost nearly as much as buying a Shark pet hoover. The first time I used it I was so surprised at the power in it & the quality of it. Only problem I have with it is the size of the drum With having 2 big dogs I’m constantly emptying it. But only fault I have

I don’t think the vacuum is made to the standards of my previous Shark. However it is good value for money and there is a 5 year guarantee .

The Shark Navigator Lift‑Away vacuum is designed to work on carpets, including thicker types. For deeper pile carpets, use the suction control slider to reduce suction and improve manoeuvrability. If your carpet has delicate edges or looped fibres, test on a small area first and consider using the hard floor setting to slow the brush roll.
Yes, the cable should be long enough for most staircases. The Shark Classic Lift-Away comes with an 8-metre power cord, giving you plenty of reach from a nearby socket. It also features Lift-Away technology, so you can detach the lightweight pod and carry it while cleaning the stairs, rather than trying to balance the full vacuum. On top of that, the hose gives you up to 3 metres of extra reach in portable mode, making it even easier to clean each step comfortably.
The Shark Classic Lift‑Away does not feature Edge‑to‑Edge or DuoClean technology. It is equipped with a standard motorised floor nozzle designed to effectively clean both carpets and hard floors. Edge‑to‑Edge cleaning capabilities are typically found on newer Shark models, such as those in the Anti Hair Wrap or DuoClean ranges.
This model does not have anti-hair wrap capabilities.
The brushroll of this vacuum cannot be completely stopped. By using the hard-floor setting, you can reduce its speed to help prevent damage to delicate carpet fibers or similar materials. We recommend testing the vacuum on an isolated patch before using it on such areas.
This hoover is designed to be used on both normal carpets as well as carpeted stairs.
This vacuum can be used on a wool carpet. For a wool carpet, we recommend using the hard-floor setting because it stops the brush from rotating, thus preventing potential damage to the carpet.

The Shark NV602UKT have a little compartment attached on the motor base where you can store the crevice tool, and the pet brush can be stored in a place that is at your ease, like a cabinet.
