Replacement motor breaks immediately
The new motor base has immediately developed a fault. It is sucking in air through the release valve and providing no suction

Rubbish, don’t waste your money
I bought this less than 2 months ago It’s terrible Suction is poor I kept thinking it was blocked or full because when hoovering everything would just spray out the back and I was having to go over the area again and again The hoovering took ages and it is very heavy I’ve emptied it over and over and checked it for blockages and nothing It just doesn’t pick up very well and makes such a big mess that I’d rather just sweep up Returning mine Not worth the money

The lift away is designed for normal vacuum operation and should not make excessive noise during use. If you notice a loud or unusual sound, this could indicate a blockage or an issue with the filters or brush roll.
The Classic Upright Pet Vacuum features headlights on the motorised floor nozzle, so it does light up while you’re cleaning. This helps you spot hidden dust and dirt, making your cleaning even more thorough.
The NZ691UKT and NZ691UK are both part of the Shark Corded Vacuum with Powered Lift-Away range and share the same core features, performance, and cleaning technology. The main difference is in the accessories included with the vacuum. The NZ691UKT model typically comes with a TruePet tool or additional pet-focused accessories, making it a great choice for homes with pets where removing pet hair from upholstery, stairs, and other surfaces is a priority. If you don't require the extra pet tools, the NZ691UK offers the same vacuum performance and features as the NZ691UKT.
The Shark Classic Lift Away Pet Vacuum delivers strong and consistent suction for everyday cleaning, powered by a 750W motor that works well on both carpets and hard floors. It offers reliable pick-up of dust, debris, and pet hair, supported by adjustable suction and a versatile floorhead. Overall, it provides solid, dependable performance for regular household use rather than heavy-duty deep cleaning.
The Shark Navigator Lift‑Away vacuum is designed to work on carpets, including thicker types. For deeper pile carpets, use the suction control slider to reduce suction and improve manoeuvrability. If your carpet has delicate edges or looped fibres, test on a small area first and consider using the hard floor setting to slow the brush roll.
Yes, the cable should be long enough for most staircases. The Shark Classic Lift-Away comes with an 8-metre power cord, giving you plenty of reach from a nearby socket. It also features Lift-Away technology, so you can detach the lightweight pod and carry it while cleaning the stairs, rather than trying to balance the full vacuum. On top of that, the hose gives you up to 3 metres of extra reach in portable mode, making it even easier to clean each step comfortably.
The Shark Classic Lift‑Away does not feature Edge‑to‑Edge or DuoClean technology. It is equipped with a standard motorised floor nozzle designed to effectively clean both carpets and hard floors. Edge‑to‑Edge cleaning capabilities are typically found on newer Shark models, such as those in the Anti Hair Wrap or DuoClean ranges.
This model does not have anti-hair wrap capabilities.
The brushroll of this vacuum cannot be completely stopped. By using the hard-floor setting, you can reduce its speed to help prevent damage to delicate carpet fibers or similar materials. We recommend testing the vacuum on an isolated patch before using it on such areas.
This hoover is designed to be used on both normal carpets as well as carpeted stairs.
