Current online information for the mains sockets in Iceland they may be different types, C could have 4.0-4.8mm diameter apertures (this adaptor model has 4.8mm diameter pins), and F will always have 4.8mm diameter apertures.
Therefore the only socket type guaranteed to be compatible with these adaptors is the F type (which has a round depression into the socket face, with metal pinching Earth contacts in the top and bottom edges).

As previously advised, current online information for the mains sockets in Italy they may be 3 different types, C could have 4.0-4.8mm diameter apertures (this adaptor model has 4.8mm diameter pins), F will always have 4.8mm diameter apertures, and L will have 4mm apertures.
Therefore the only socket type guaranteed to be compatible with these adaptors is the F type (which has a round depression into the socket face, with metal pinching Earth contacts in the top and bottom edges).
