Great model of a classic plane
After a coupleof dodgy looking aicraft in Concorde and the 747/Shuttle combo, this is remarkably close to the real thing. The scale (slightly smaller than mini-fig) gives plenty of opportunities for detail. The build is familiar to anyone who made the Space Shuttle model of a few years back - nothing new here, but that doesn't really matter. I couldlive without the mini-figures and the PanAM logos, but they don't detract from the finished model.

Best lego set
This is by far my favourite Lego set to build and own, thus far. The excitement of building the plane, and some of the little facts on the building pages. The Lego figurines don’t fit in the cockpit but you can fit one sitting in the main cabin. However I did not buy this to play with and would imagine most buy as a collectors item. The build was easy enough to follow and took a good few hours. It now sits proudly on my display shelf.

DC-3s are one of my favourite planes, so being able to build one and have it in my room is fantastic! Was great to build, except for one specific part of the engines, but other than that there were no problems!

Instructions were well explained in the book and the build was very straightforward. Now it’s finished, it looks fantastic.
