Fun build with a fantastic end piece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lego pan American Douglas Dc-3 has been a blast to build! The pieces are bagged in a great way, and the little people are a great find as they are hidden throughout. It uses some cool Lego tricks to fit together, has a massive wingspan and despite my hesitation, is surprisingly sturdy on the stand, given its weight. Definitely proud to have this in my collection!

An enjoyable high quality Lego piece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the Lego Douglas dc-3 pan am airliner and would highly recommend it, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, making the building process enjoyable and very user-friendly. The quality of the Lego pieces are excellent, with every brick fitting together perfectly making the model feel reliable and sturdy once completed. The finished aircraft is incredibly detailed, featuring spinning propellers, a display stand an information plaque and four pan am mini figures, making it a fantastic display piece. The build feels durable and holds together well when moved or displayed. From a safety perspective the pieces are well made with no sharp edges, and it’s suitable for the recommended age range. Maintenance is minimal, as it only requires the occasional dusting to keep it looking fresh. Overall this is a beautiful high quality LEGO set that exceeded my expectations and was a pleasure to build from start to finish. Overall it took me 5 days in my spare time to build.

Big piece long time to put together
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t put the bottom of this yet, but I didn’t have enough time before moving home. It will be going straight on my shelf, I love it, to be honest it was really hard to put together and lots of little bits, but with some spare time on your hands you can get it in done in a few hours, it’s a very delicate piece, I would cry if anyone touched it as I wouldn’t want to spend the time putting it back together. I love the little accessories that also come with it.

A must have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great build quality as always. Nice clear and easy to build and very enjoyable, especially the attention to details such as an internal section. A joy.

A Must-Have for Aviation and LEGO Fans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding display model that beautifully captures one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft, with a rewarding build that uses clever techniques for the curved fuselage, wings and distinctive nose. The finished model looks fantastic in the classic Pan Am livery, and the printed pieces instead of stickers give it a premium feel, while the detailed cockpit passenger cabin, retractable landing gear and crew mini figures add authenticity without cluttering the elegant design.

Good, but….
I’d recommend this model, but the design and execution of the ‘s seats needs a redesign, very difficult to do

Great model of a classic plane
After a coupleof dodgy looking aicraft in Concorde and the 747/Shuttle combo, this is remarkably close to the real thing. The scale (slightly smaller than mini-fig) gives plenty of opportunities for detail. The build is familiar to anyone who made the Space Shuttle model of a few years back - nothing new here, but that doesn't really matter. I couldlive without the mini-figures and the PanAM logos, but they don't detract from the finished model.

Best lego set
This is by far my favourite Lego set to build and own, thus far. The excitement of building the plane, and some of the little facts on the building pages. The Lego figurines don’t fit in the cockpit but you can fit one sitting in the main cabin. However I did not buy this to play with and would imagine most buy as a collectors item. The build was easy enough to follow and took a good few hours. It now sits proudly on my display shelf.

Brilliant
Knew this was a must get as soon as it came out to go along with the Concorde, and it looks even better in person.
