About this product
Well, where do we start on this beaut? The Kaycie midsleeper with slide is a great bed for kids who want all the fun of a high bed without the height, with some extra play value thrown in. Made from solid wood, it's strong and sturdy. Make a den underneath for fun and adventure, or use the space for storage. But best of all. . . It's got to be the slide. We repeat, IT'S GOT A SLIDE! A great space-saving choice for small rooms, this bed is sure to wear them out. It's also just the right height for a kiss goodnight.
Your little big dreamer will love this bed - we love it too! And to keep things simple for you, we've designed it so you can position the ladder at either end to suit your space. Recommended for ages 6+.

A dreamy slide into bedtime
We recently got the Argos slide bed for our little one, and it’s been an absolute hit! From the moment it arrived, bedtime transformed from a nightly negotiation into something they actually look forward to. The built-in slide is pure magic—every morning starts with giggles and a joyful descent that sets the tone for the day. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward (even for sleep-deprived parents), and the bed feels sturdy and safe. The design is clever and compact, perfect for smaller rooms, and there’s even space underneath for storage or a cozy hideaway. It’s not just a bed—it’s a mini adventure zone! If you’re looking to add a bit of fun and function to your child’s room, this bed is a winner. Just be prepared for a few extra “just one more slide!” requests before lights out.

Perfect children’s bed
Instructions are super easy to follow and I managed to build it myself which was a bonus. My daughter loves it! Saw a comment from someone before I built it advising to open the box for the slide first as the main bed instructions mean you can build the whole bed then have to undo a bit to attach the slide. Opening the slide box first you then have the instructions on which point of building to add the slide so super useful tip!

Great bed
We have had this a few weeks now for our 4 year old. it was ok to put together and didn’t take too long. For us I feel like we bought this rashly. We wanted our daughter to stay in bed longer and it has made a slight difference. However we didn’t think about the logistics of her having to get up in the night to use the loo. This might be more suitable for an older child who doesn’t need to get up. Saying that though she loves the slide and the den bit underneath.

Easy peasy
Yeah ordered the loft bed with slide super easy to put together and the wee man's no stopped buzzing up and down it helps tire him out before bed and also gives him somewhere to do den building

Hello Keith 91,
Re: Argos Home Kaycie Mid Sleeper with Slide - White
An opening in a safety guard without a ladder, platform or slide in front of it is not allowed, as the child could fall out of the bed in this opening. The bed can technically be used without the slide, as the short post by the slide is attached to bed rail. But it's not legal according to the safety standards.
