My daughter loved her wand at first but dropped once from low height and big piece fell off. Currently held together with tape but to be fair still works.

Good design but fragile

The design is very good however the resin the wand is made from is a bit fragile and a single drop can chip peaces off. The light diode at the end of it is not very well secured so it starts wiggling especially after the surrounding area is a bit chipped. In my opinion it would not stay intact more than 2 days in the hands of a child (my son broke a piece of the tip with a single drop on the floor an hour after unpacking.

The wand was one of two purchased at the same time. The light did not work on the first and it was returned and replaced the following day. The second was given as a gift a couple of days later and lasted five minutes of (not particularly boisterous) play before it also broke. I tried to return the item and was refused a refund. I would not recommend this as it is simply not fit for purpose and not robust for children's play.

My daughter bought this with her pocket money, after 2 days the light stopped working. We took it back to argos however they would not exchange it as it was a battery issue. We were told to buy new batteries.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It comes in a really pretty box, it well presented and does what it says on the box. The addition of the app to use the wand with makes for good fun and overall, I think this is a good gift.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it! only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was that it wasn't clear which light painting app went with it and the one which i think was correct really didn't work very well.

Bought for world book day for my daughter she loved the idea of a lighting up wand and got really excited at the app features although 5 minutes later she said it was rubbish and haven't seen her use it since. Would reserve for people who love all things Harry potter
