It comes in easy to open packaging, inside is a beautiful red carry case that contains the device & all the attachments you need. ♥️ It has excellent function settings, it has a built in skin protection sensor adapt technology that reads your skin tone & automatically adjusts power to help irritation.. ♥️ It is very easy to use & has easy to follow instructions, comfortable to hold & easy to operate. ♥️ After only the second time of using this I noticed my hair growth has considerably slowed down, I am absolutely delighted with results so far, & I shall continue use as I can already tell it's only going to get better, & better! ♥️ It also comes with a shaver to pre- shave the areas first, then you just select the attachment that is needed & the device is then ready to use. It honestly couldn't be easier, it's that simple! 😀 Full star rating from me! ..✨

Excellent painless device that can be used weekly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Braun IPL device is excellent! Very easy to set up and use, easy push buttons and there’s a gauge that tells you when you’ve got the angle exactly right otherwise it won’t work. During the process sometimes there’s a little warmness but nothing that hurts (very painless process) and also there can be a burning smell which I guess is the hair follicles being destroyed. Leaves a nice smooth feeling afterwards. Have only used it for 2 weeks but will continue and I have no doubt I will be hair free very soon.

Helps stop the regrowth of body/facial hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this is going to be a life changer for me. No more niks with the razor. This allows you to use it on your legs, underarms, bikini bits and all facial areas, There is 2 head attachments for different body parts, which offers long lasting results through targeted light therapy, it reduces hair regrowth with each session which i like. You do need to shave the area which you intend to treat and making sure the areas are clean and dry with no hair at all. You need to move it slowly in one direction I like how it glides nicely on the skin. it gives long lasting results but its not completely permanent. It has 3 settings and 2 head attachments for different body parts. It includes smart flex head for 100% coverage even on hard to reach parts. Apparently you see visible results from the second use (and I have) and full body sessions in 10 min,it requires only 2 sessions per month for 3 months, it's so good as the sensor reads your skin tone each time you use it and automatically adjusts each flash for a safe treatment. I have used it twice now and its left my skin feeling softer than before using it. It's nice and comfortable to hold when using it just makes a soft slight buzz sound while your using it, it's not heavy to hold either so no aching arm's which is good. It has a long lead which is prefect if your not right next to a plug. It comes with it's own beautiful red carry case brilliant for taking on my holidays and a Gillette Venus razor for added convenience. I think this is wonderful i will definitely recommend it i think it's one of the best out there

The app is so handy and I love the safety feature that it only works when pressed against the skin, the case is very nice it comes with, it feels luxurious

I cannot comment on the speed, power, ergonomic or performance on this device but I can say that it is packed well and the attachment seem quite promising.

Fantastic at-home selfcare product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My very first experience with IPL device and I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical about using this because I was worried about experiencing pain. This is not the case at all, it's not painful at all... its more like a tingly sensation and I was also very pleasee this didn't irritate my skin at all. I waited a few days after use to leave a review because I need to be sure any irritation wouldn't occur later. My skin feels smooth and lovely. I did apply shea butter after use as I wanted to give my skin an extra boost. This product is fabulous, it is so sleek and bougee!! A bit pricey, however it is definitely a worthy investment especially if you are into selfcare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely loving this Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 IPL device PL5221 which reduces hair growth over a period of time for permanent results. Beautiful packaging with a lovely red case to hold all IPL products. This pack comes with 2 different heads for different parts of the body,a power pack and Venus razor and blade. A complete package. This IPL device is so versatile for all over your body to reduce hair growth and is do safe and effective. It comes with clear easy to follow instructions with great support on the Braun website and online. There are lots of good how to use videos on line to get the best out of this device. I have downloaded the Braun app which breaks down the different heads to usr on different areas of my body. It also had a calendar and planner to create session plans which maps your progress during treatments and your results which is fantastic. This is a beautiful, sturdy looking, quality device which feels safe to use. I am very confident and comfortable using this IPL device. The pack comes with easy to usr instructions. Top tip: Make sure you have removed all hair growth from areas to ensure you have a pain free, smooth experience. I tested a small patch initially to make sure o did not have any skin reactions to the product and process. I have tried the gliding fir larger areas like my legs,arms etc and the stamping for more targeted and intimate areas or where skin is more sensitive. So far apart from a slight sensitive sensation immediately after use I have had no undue reactions to this IPL device. This sensation disappears quickly. I have a heavy hair growth and I am already noticing a difference in reduced hair growth and hair is lighter and finer. Fantastic for upper lip and facial areas as well. The IPL automatically adults it's sensors for each area of my skin and body part. I am loving experimenting with this device and totally recommend.

AMAZING Product!! Can’t wait to carry on using it

I’ve been using the Braun Silk expert Pro 5 IPL for a couple of days now and I was low key scared at first because anything that says “laser” sounds like it wants to fight me. But honestly? It’s way easier and calmer than I expected. First impressions: it looks boujee. The case, the design, everything feels proper high end. It comes with everything you need and it’s actually really simple to set up. Plug it in, pick your level, and go. It doesn’t hurt like I thought it would. It feels more like a quick warm flick, not painful, just a little “oop” moment. You get used to it fast. I started on the lower setting because I’m a scaredy cat, but even then it still works. After a few uses I noticed my hair growing back slower and softer. Not that horrible sharp stubble that shows up the next day like “hey bestie, miss me?” It’s way smoother for longer, and I don’t feel like I have to shave every five minutes. I also love that it adjusts to your skin tone so you don’t have to guess and accidentally laser yourself into another dimension. It feels safe, smart, and like it actually knows what it’s doing. It’s definitely one of those “investment” products, but if you’re sick of shaving all the time or dealing with angry razor rash, this is a game changer. My legs are smoother, my routine is quicker, and I’m not fighting my razor every other day anymore. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants smooth skin without the daily drama. 💅✨
